in another thread, someone said the quality not so good, after one or 2 years, the screw became loose and unable to tighten, even though the tv works

I bought the Prism Q55 pro for parents recently during the 9.9 sale. Feedback from them is that its good. Anyways doubt they can tell the difference cos they only watch news and go YouTube

I using TCL and in law use prism+. Both bought around same time. Screen wise, felt that tcl is better.

Quality wise, my in law's TV set has been replaced twice. Mine still working perfectly well

Hey guys, thanks for all chiur feedback !!

after going thru all the posts and watch that youtuber jiejie reviews, seems clear TCL (or Iffalcon) ish the "better" budget teebee over Prism+ ...

moi hv done abit of "homework" too and indeed this TCL does hv an edge over Prism ..

not interested in getting XM teebee sho moi no comment on that ..

earlier in the day go Giant jalan jalan ssrr, saw they bring in many TCL teebees but nvr saw the Iffalcon brand .. hope they can bring it in too, soon ..

Sony of today notch like rast time .. in the past chiu buy Sony maybe can last chiu 8-10 yrs and beyond .. but nao all are the same ..

but as moi said, if chiu willing to spend big and buy those "premium" or high-end ones then maybe can last longer ..

else, like some said just get those cheap/budget or "flagship killer" ones will do .. 3-5 yrs later if spoil just throw, get another one lo ..

the cheapo tv is still lcd not led

led is the backlight in white color at the rear that shine through the multicolor lcd

when peel off the screen protector can see the lcd liquid flowing on under the screen , it's not real solid state LED which is the higher priced stuff

Yeah true to an extend.
My sony tv lasted 2 years before it kaput.
Lucky still under 3 years warranty period, so called the tech to repair FOC.
They replaced the motherboard and it was working well again.
Imagine if no warranty, I heard the motherboard is not cheap.

Prism tv not bad, my cousin got 1, 65 inches.
Quite good. Tempted to try also since it's cheap.

Sony ish 3 yr "full" warranty meh ?

tot nowadays many offer 1 yr full nia, then 2nd and 3rd yr only service and transport .. if need chg parts must pay own pocket ..

From what moi gathered, TCL using VA and Prism using IPS panel which is prone to "bleeding" ..

also, VA ish better in terms of contrast and black or "dark" scenes playback .. but in terms of viewing angle, of cos IPS ish better ..
