If stick to SP. It is paying the rate that being regulated and set by EMA . Retailers is offering cheaper fixed rate. So that is the difference. I saved about 20% by switching to other retailers. I used to pay more than $100 a month for my bills including gas and water . Now even my wife WFH. My bills still won't exceed more than $100.

Icic sounds good for u. I just find the whole business model very wierd and how do they make money outta it.

hope the trouble to now switch makes it worth the while in terms of savings

Since no penalty for breaching contract on their end, easy for them to cut lost by doing that. Instead of selling you at a loss.
