Nowadays BMW, Merc and Audi cars no more luxury. Tesla is the real deal.

Tesla is just a pretentious upstart and the in-thing now like a new Playstation, no way it can be considered a true luxury car as American build quality is quite crap. Think Cadillac.
Tesla just dumped a TV screen in the middle and used it for all controls so the design becomes v minimalist, think that appeals to people who like the Muji type of look

Same can be said for Apple when they first launched the iPhone and replaced the buttons with a screen. Initially everybody laughed at them. End up nobody laughing and EVERY mobile phone copied them. :s13:

lets not confuse luxury and fine craftsmanship with new tech or revolutionary design features. they are quite different things

Unless your mscp or condo carpark have EV charging stations I don’t think it works. I got 1 friend tell me how good the specs are 0-100 is how low but only problem is he need to drive to a nearby shopping centre carpark to charge. Isn’t that super inconvenient?

Tesla's American auto workers are all MacGyver wannabes.
No need to stop production for any issues along the way since everything can be fixed with duct tape as long as the owners can't see it.

yeah, 3 years change car is the best, especially tesla , when battery capacity start going down, during the 4 years warrently, there is a mobile team around singapore to support you, just sit in office and they come down fix the car, after 4 years, pay lots of money for maintenance, just sell it to some 1 that dont have much money for down payment, and let them pay for the maintenance

Depents on your thoughts, some change to ev now like tesla is because tesla super charger is free, and some places like Ikea give free charging, and u got access to lots like even hybrid parking lots. some change as they got dedicated charging at home or office, so basically they never need to go petrol station or servicing, even trouble shooting the mobile team will come down to you. some change is because of the performance, that petrol car is no where near, but overall ev is not for masses , as once over 4 years, the battery will starting to lose it storage capacity. so it only for those that can keep afford to change car every 3-4 years to drive, even thou it is build like for 300k mileage. with only 20 moving part in compare to ice 2000 moving part. i think the performance car buyer like those above 300 horse will start to adopt to ev first, as no point paying so much for a petrol performance car that get smoke everytime by ev

ev value should be good, as goverment also pushing for year 2030 to phase out ice
for now buy ice car, best is buy those old cars, so can scrap anytime. taxes is also something that is important, as the 30% road tax rebate for ice is ending on 2022 dec
