I'm thinking to myself whether can 1 differentiate a Calmex $200 abalone vs NTUC $0.90 abalone after cooking.

Really can tell the difference btw 228 and 28 abalone? Or is it the way u cook it matters ?
Most household i see, will just thin slice cut them up and eat during steamboat.
