Everyone should know basic electricity stuff..... At least know basic things like fuse, 3 colour coded wires, ampere, circuit breaker, types of plugs etc.....

This is not rocket science and super duper easy one leh.... Can save your life one day.

Me surprised that so many in this forum don't even know basic things like what is earth wire for, why water heaters should not use a standard 13A 3pin plug and why need different wire, why aircon plug is different from the usual one.

It's not common knowledge la. And if you want ppl to learn then drop your knowledge here for ppl who is curious to learn la.

coz sch never teach ma.. sch should teach these basic stuff.. instead of useless things like maths :D

insulating is very important especially in wet areas. we only want to let the electricity to go where it should with minimum exposure.

Sometimes, need to read up a bit.... I got no cert nor any qualification in electricity... Basically I all read and learn myself.

ya can watch youtube as well.. i learnt alot from there :D (y)

Wah. This one is like the most common thing in Singapore leh. 13A with fuse is basically the standard plugs we use. The 15A are the aircon ones. They got no fuse (take note, no fuse!).

I'm one of those dunno one. Every time touch live wires do repair work, scared sheetless. Maybe put some classes here for learning?
