no fuse but got breaker la..![]()
Breaker is on the socket side, not the plug. Then I just learn that that water electrocution case, no circuit breaker for the heater!!
So, never assume that there is definitely a breaker.

I'm one of those dunno one. Every time touch live wires do repair work, scared sheetless. Maybe put some classes here for learning?
in a short circult if graded correctly breaker should operate.
at the mains box there every circuit should have a breaker![]()
not everyone know how to tell difference between 13A plug n 15A plug....
illegal upgrade ??! cheap contractor???Yeah!! But.... that 3 person dead case.... no breaker!! I was shocked... Huh? How come no breaker. The RCCB only for utility room....
one will go read up and learn abt it when they are curious or have interest in this area.. how many actually will have interest in such area like electricity cables and such?
13A plug comes with rectangular pins whereas 15A plug comes with thicker round pins. There should be voltage and current labels on the plug itself.not everyone know how to tell difference between 13A plug n 15A plug....

Seems like u know your stuff. Can u advise me on this?Everyone is scared also. This is what multimeter and test pens are for!!
Basic safety rules, if you are doing any wiring stuff. You should always turn off the main circuit breaker. Then for safety, test the wire with multimeter or test pen to ensure no power. Then you are good to go.
After my renovation I found out that the contractor took short cuts and pulled a wire from a single point to multiple locations. So several electrical outlets share a single point.
In my db, one of the switch controls up to 8 pts. While 3 other switches are not assigned at all.
Any electrician expert can advise what's the adverse impact for this ? Will it cause overload? and should the Reno electrician evenly distributed the points?
My army commander told me. Got button you press, got lever you pull, that's how you strip a rifle.erm...i thought common sense is see hole, must plug it in.![]()
yes... but do they know what is it for? unless someone tells them, if not they will just use it like normally....13A plug comes with rectangular pins whereas 15A plug comes with thicker round pins. There should be voltage and current labels on the plug itself.
