Is this Harman Kardon?
Oh. I don't fancy Denon and Marantz design. I've just bought Leak Stereo 130 as an impulse buy last weekend. It's basically a much nicer looking Quad Vena Play II that is somehow cheaper in Singapore compared to Vena. Big upgrade compared to my last Class D Sabaj. Sound so much fuller and there is a nice hint of warmness.Denon
Since you are using Ruark already, logical step up would be Kef LSX or Triangle Elara?Any small bookshelf speakers 2.0 + bluetooth for PC setup to recommend? Have used Ruark Mr1 previously
Because LS50 Meta are passive speakers and he would need to get an integrated + DAC which probably would cost additional $1000 for decent one like Audiolab M-One?Why nobody suggested KEF LS50 META? you wan the best this is the best (Computer setup wise)

If want to go passive for desktop, the best option i have heard so far is Vivid Kaya S12. Then throw in a Naim Uniti Atom. Total $13,000 SGD. The S12 is my dream desktop speaker. Probably will get Yamaha AS-2200 to pair with it and Musician Aquarius.
Is the Kef lsx worth considering? I have used pre sonus before Ruark. Was contemplating iloud micro monitors but review seems hit and missesSince you are using Ruark already, logical step up would be Kef LSX or Triangle Elara?

I have chinese DAC(Topping D90) and amplifier(SMSL DA-8S), do you think that the KEF LS50 Meta is a good fit? Am using the speakers nearfield on my desktop and mainly for music enjoyment.
Thank you for your input. Am coming from a pair of active-turned-passive Aktimate Mini speakers, so are the KEF speakers considered an upgrade?
Always wondered if subwoofer is suitable for HDB use, am concerned about affecting the neighbours lol.

What kind of rack do you use ?I put my subwoofer on a rack, helps to reduce the vibration. So far quite ok, even at 1 or 2 AM I turn on music nobody complained.
Yes, KEF should be an upgrade. But if you are willing to upgrade you should consider other options at this price range that might be more suitable for your room or musical taste: Amphion Argon 1, Triangle Comete 40th, GoldenEar BRX, and Sonus Faber Sonetto 1.
One thing to consider is whether you have space from the wall. The LS50 Meta and the Argon 1 for example are rear ported so need around 20-30 cm from the wall. Those with side or front ports you can safely put all the way back against the wall.
