this sounds funny man... if it happens again and someone in the household happens to noticed it, do give sing-power a call... if no one at home, maybe can make sure equipment that may be sensitive to surged power be left off for the time being...Happened like half an hour ago. The power actually came back on in less than 10secs
chiu stay landed or condo or hdb deNo smell…, the switch all stayed up. I didn’t do anything and the power came back on like really a few seconds later
Yah, cos tomorrow working no one at home. sorry ts, was just commenting that normal household electrical equipment shouldn't be causing such scenario as yours...No leh, didn’t switch on anything at that time. Funny thing is it happened yesterday at like similar time too. Yesterday I just thought it was a power dip so wasn’t really bothered, then it happened today again![]()

HDB, but new wiring done less than 5 years agoIf hse is more than 30yrs can consider rewiring
you may also wanna consider calling a certified electrician to check on your breakers...Yah, cos tomorrow working no one at home. A bit worried![]()
Only fridge and router etc. Even my TV I off the switch after usingare you using anything or leaving them on standby?
aircon, water heater, water kettle, oven, PC desktop etc?
… at like almost same timing. It just went off for a few seconds then come back on again.
What could be the cause?
The circuit breaker inside house did not trip at all, all the switches were up
I see, so TC is the one to call? If it happens again tomorrow then I’m gonna call themAs others have mentioned, probably a brownout. Report TC ask them to check the flat’s electrical distribution system. Eapecially if neighbours experienced the same. Brownouts are super rare in Singapore. Even more so in HDB where there is a medium tension substation in every block.
Might be a neighbour on the same circuit powering up something really big, but not big enough to trip the overload breaker.
Big motors and transformers usually to blame.
Motors found in big AC, some high powered cleaning equipment. Large capacity transformers found in high end hifi, IT equipment.
In that it should have tripped the circuit breaker first? Mine was like the power just came back on in a few seconds without me doing anything… Any way I will try just turn off those appliances not using and seecheck your appliances mabbe have a faulty one

The only thing I had on at that time was fridge, router and fan etc. Nothing high currentYou got high current devices? Aircon, heater, oven, microwave, hair dryer etc.?
Any non safety mark devices?
