I think these are non-PWM ones right? But they are still good.

I think the price of the P12 5 piece pack was 35 bucks last week. This was about the price I paid for the 5 piece pack a few years back. But now its back to inflated prices.

Because I owned a scythe fuma 2 so I just go with the wonder snail to form a complete scythe theme cpu cooling. :s13:
Towkay, 2 questions.

1. What‘s the temperature improvement from stock to a pair of Wonder Snails on the Fuma 2 rev. B?

2. How many RAM slots does it obstruct?

Assuming your mobo has 4 ram slots and is not ITX.

If you put a standard-sized 25mm fan on the right, only the first ram slot is blocked off. You can place your ram in the 2nd and 4th slot like you always do. By default, it's the slim fan, which has full ram clearance.

That's the good thing about Fuma 2. It gives you the complete package when it comes to compatibility, ease of installation, etc.

You are not paying only for the performance.

If i still remember, on load it was around 5-7 drop (IIRC). But i really do not think you need to change the stock fan on the Fuma 2 Rev. B since they are already very good.

If you use the stock fan, it should clear all 4 rams slot. If you replace the front slim fan, you will take up 1 dim slot. But, if you use low profile memory, then just move the fan slightly upwards.

Heya! 5-7°C is substantial. What load was it on? I.e. CPU wattage and app used? It is similar to Hardware Canucks’ and Kleo Yan’s findings.

I‘m contemplating between a zhnged Fuma 2 and NH-U12A to replace NH-D15 for better clearance in a new Alder Lake build. Leaning towards the more expensive Noctua with its 6-year warranty, clearance, resale value and my familiarity with NT-H1. Respect to Scythe’s engineering.

Ridiculous to spend this much on an air cooler instead of an AIO. Alas, the case isn’t optimized for AIO.

Gamxia for the response. Ditto to @Phen8210

Quick question on case fans.. If I have a Noctua A12x15 and A12x25, can I daisy chain them and plug into the same motherboard header? These are for top exhaust fans

If you're using the Y Splitter it is possible but take note the MB will only send 1 signal to both fans which will be based on the percentage of the max rpm that the fan is rotating.

OK, yes using the y-splitter and they're both the PWM versions so the MB would regulate the speed of both based on a fixed percentage, correct? There's no risk to doing so was what I'm asking

Yup exactly, no harm since Noctua fans are relatively low power. Typical recommended fan header limit is 1A.

No risk. just make sure the slower fan is the one the mobo fan header take reference from.

Y splitter normally have 1 end with 4 pin another 3 pin, the motherboard will read the fan that connect to the 4pin.

Noctua fan are like RTX now. Crazy expensive.
I ordered from Amazon US together with my Noctua c14S cooler. Cheaper but my build is waiting for its delivery, supposed to be by 2 Aug :o

also picked up 2 Arctic P12s from Lazada other day, arriving today. A lot cheaper
