That why upfront need to discuss about the buffering and in between with the schedule you can check the work. Plus make progressive payment

To add on for those who buy lighting from the shop can ask them to recommend LEW or electrician for Renovations. Don't let the Reno contractor introduce their as the price given is mark up pricing.

Mine gave me in calendar format. I ordered my own lights & doors/mild steel gate/digital lock/a/c, he will plan ahead let me know the delivery timing so he can work with the vendors to get it installed/touched up.

Gantt chart no use if everything is sequentially based. Normally used for larger projects with very complex tasks and a lot of manpower, reno is like cooking, more cooks don't make the food better/faster.

You just need milestones in the updates will do.

As long as HDB approved, you can do anything. Bear in mind doing without HDB only when selling the house the inspector come ask u demolish & make good first then can let you sell only.

As advice I don't recommend my Reno contractor.
If today never went down to check will tell you that 1 need to replace whole thing news. Really knn think I am a carrot.

I only create with the a/c contractor as they got a lot of liaison works to discuss on the piping wiring etc.

For my main door/mild steel, I only need to arrange for delivery and installation, my ID will let me know when (1 mth ahead) and then touch up after installation.

For my steigen drying rack, also will arrange on my own, All these small, no need so many group chats.

Identify the problem small tiny problem on the window side tell Simi look for supplier to change the whole window grill.
Excuse alot plus over charge me on the ceiling light installation. Also the rubbish chute other people quote me $185 with installation . She quotes $300 after I make nosie than price went down I was wtf..men

Yes my ceiling light supplier quote me $180 where else they quote me $285.
9 light @ $25 for 1 and ceiling fan light $60.
