Sg travelers to Jeju will also not need K-eta electronic visa

I think they are taking away the pre departure tests and maybe replacing the on arrival PCR with just a ART...

Where did they mentioned no need K-eta? What about Q-Code?

Morning referring to the car model?

I had the little Morning car when in Jeju.
Don't recommend it.
Car has no power too n really weak when going uphill.
Get a bigger car if u can.

I'm travelling in a group of 7... 4A3C... thinking whether to get 1 9seater or 2 5seater... scared the 9seater not enough space for luggage...

I think don’t have alre :( I didn’t see when I was in myeongdong in may. But maybe I missed.

secret garden for autumn leaves very nice, if can really suggest to hike up Namsan also instead of taking cable car, very pretty and only about 30 minutes. Can take the no stairs one also (bus route), but the stairs one is prettier.
i remember osulloc cafe is near or same alley as the Mcdonalds there last time

Tip? For anyone trying to do seoul Jeju Busan, might be obvious but Busan’s weekends cost quite a bit more than say Jeju or Seoul I realised.

a good touristy location / view hotel on weekend can easily be double the price for the same hotel on weekdays. ($240 for 3 nights becomes about $600 for 3 nights). So plan accordingly if possible to skip Busan on weekends. Air tickets from and out of Busan for weekends also sell out very quickly. Jeju and Seoul still not so bad rly for price difference. :s22:

boutique and nice Busan hotels that are reasonably priced sell out within hours of them being put up too. Prolly only option left is Airbnb or biz hotels

Pre-departure tests alre scrapped in June I thought, I wonder why article says need another PCR test before leaving?
was it reintroduced due to recent wave?

/edit: after googling I guess it was never scrapped just changed to supervised ART…?

Hongdae more things to eat/shop. MD really quite ded tbh, it’s rly nothing like the old days, a bit depressing unless u walk to the euljiro area.

ya at the end of the day depends on what u want. If want relax and chill trip, prolly will choose sea-facing even if less convenient, and in Seoul also choose more comfy stay but quieter area.

if want convenience really stay near all the major train stops is much easier. :)

what is the best way to get a korean phone number?

I want to book tours to Cheong wa dae and Secret Garden, but the reservations all require a Korean phone number. Is there a way for me to obtain one in SG first and use for reservations?

Secret garden don’t need to book in advance, just go there and buy tickets but u should go on time :)

blue house iirc can book from online but their website quite buggy.

There are a lot of theme parks in Seoul and Jeju for kids... but i guess 4yr old might not enjoy most of the rides... Maybe zoo or aquarium? If is a gal can bring to Seoul Tower Hello Kitty place... but it is not much things there... far cry from the Japan Sanrio Puroland...

My youngest is 6... and oldest is 12... Seoul we will be going to Lotte World and Everland... Jeju will visit Glass Castle to let them DIY glasswares... and do the submarine tour...
