1/3 full to me still alright if I'm not in a rush. But today being Monday where more will go across for the pasar malam... I do try to avoid. :o

Today not solo, got a friend coming along, he saw my RM35 massage and he was tempted.

I'm drooling for the Kuay Tiao at See Kee, which I haven't had in a long long time. Then a quick QC check at Hiap Joo
Where is the RM35 massage, 1hr?

1) Correct.
2) The MyRFID lane on the right. For those tolls like NSHW where the first toll is to record your entry and the next one is to record your exit, you must use the same mode at entry and exit. Don't use TnG card to enter and RFID to exit.

I have VEP RFID installed on my car before COVID. The one where you need to go down to the centre to let them paste for you. But I always use TnG card to pay for my tolls.

From what I understand, the sticker can be used for highway tolls at the myRFID lane if I put money into the ewallet. When I cross via Woodlands, I always get the message my tag has insufficient balance (to pay the RM2+), so it wants me to tap card, which is what I do.

PayDirect is only valid at a few toll booths. The Woodlands CIQ is one of them, can deduct the RM2+ from ewallet. RM20 RC deducted from TnG card balance.

oh ok .. i also have the VEP before covid. I also always use tng card .. never try going in the MyRFID lane to try out the VEP RFID tag. As long as u have $$$ in ur ewallet that is linked to the VEP RFID tag, then it should work. BUT i will only try if that Myrfid lane is empty.. if not go in liao cannot use then stuck there. If empty at least can reverse out and then use the normal tng lane

Which joint good? I only tried spas there:o

I'll check with my organizer and get back to you. The 2 different areas so far I've been to are in Mt Austin and Sutera area. I'm just a follower for those events.

it has been 7-8 years since i last ate here and it is still as delicious. Its a little pricey at RM20, but this is the add oyster version, regular is RM8, Large is RM 16, but is it pricey? i mean my Orh Chien already RM15

my travel buddy concluded that oysters are cheap and good in malaysia, the oyster today was on par with orh chien auntie's oyster standard.

1.jpg

get there before 1300hrs if you really want to eat, today the unforseen early CIQ jam added about 30 minutes of extra queue time and i got there around 1315hrs and i was the 2nd last order of the day

11 nice and juicy oysters, pork liver, kidney and meat both slices and minced. Wait time was about 45minutes from getting there/ordering till food came, that was how long the queue was.

West Malaysia pork has a better IMO porcine flavour, incase you don't know, SG imports pork from East Malaysia Sarawak, Indonesia, Brazil and the Netherlands but no pork from across the causeway due to past disease outbreak/HFM

The soup is definitely the star, and the advantage of getting the last orders is the extra flavor from all the pork parts cooking for each order over the day in the soup. I asked for a soup refill  it was that yummy and when i brought my bowl back to the front, i could see 2 large pork bones still simmering away in the soup as the soup level was getting low.

i was debating to go queue at Hiap Joo while waiting for the noodles, oh and the only reason i got noodles was Kuay Tiao was sold out by the time i got there at 1315hrs, so another reason to arrive early if you want kuay tiao, but my main priority was the soup and meat. so i was ok with any carb.

This was the queue at Hiap Joo when i got there after finishing my noodles, IMO the banana cake is not worth the wait time, i would have grabbed it if the queue was no more that under their awning. There are food that i will definitely queue and wait for, but IMO Hiap Joo is no longer one of those.

I don't think that their banana cake is as good but it's no fault of Hiap Joo but rather the problem with their main ingredient, the bananas, which due to the way they are cultivated for mass consumption. I have bananas for breakfast with oatmeal and peanut butter 3-4 time a week for breakfast and other days i use self frozen bananas to make shakes, and i feel bananas itself is losing its banana taste as compare to last time.

after that was the same itinerary as last week, Sentral to Holiday Plaza for massage, then pasar malam at KSL.

i think i got my travel buddy hooked on massage and the next travel itinerary is for Tuesday for him to compare massage at Plaza Sentosa then follow up with Pasar Malam at Pelangi.

Pls sic where to party:o

https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100085283011055
this is the most recent one that i went to last month.

large venue, got upper deck. RM428 for 24x330ml Carlsberg. dunno about the other price, our standard order is by the case(24 bottles) one. Flowers start RM100, rotation of DJ and singing/dancing performance. Entertainment value good, there are a few groups of performers and they dress in the same style in the performance group.

another one in Mt Austin, this one smaller joint, RM388 for 24x330ml, Flowers start from RM50, no/small stage for performance so its all talk with girls or shoot dice, but my group's preferred activity/drinking game is Si Ki Pi, overall lowest high hand has to drink + what we bet in RM per hand with dealer.

Our usual starting order. looks nice and also act as a deterrent for those butterfly or girls that are afraid or can't drink. Our table rule is no ice in beer glass, so only the best in drinking girls dare to approach.

Flower joint usually not much butterfly unless there are many girls and few tables. If butterfly then don't hang or tip. Or do they pester for tips in jb?
That's a lot of beer. Do you always finish? If liquor bottles they usually keep for up to 1 month if cannot finish.

i find the ones selling flowers pester more, girls if butterfly will be after getting flowers. also remember that we are visitors in a foreign land, and we usually don't visit the same place more than 3 times, unless some one in the group kena KC and wants to go back, full group strength is 8 guys including myself and usually rotates as a 4 man team as 4 guys need to sign off pass, my event organizer prefers to visit new places and explore different pubs.

group strength is we will always remind the one that kena KC to stop thinking with small head and wake up their bloody idea.

8-10 people drink the beer, not just the 4 of us, still have 4 girls, and most of the time, the boss/manager of the place will come over to say hi and drink a few glasses.

yeah, liquour can keep for 30 days if cannot finish.

Woodlands CIQ auto lanes on the far left were closed and got ushered to the far right that I've never stepped in before. Brand new and much more sensitive machines! Clearance was a bliss!

Hope they upgrade their lao kok kok scanners soon!

those old scanners very hit or miss, yesterday come back still using the left side, but got the regular security, not rental cops, standing by the machine constantly repeating that if the scanner don't work, you have to scan thumbprint, but so far, scanner works on me and i haven yet to go to scan thumbprint, but got see before infront of me person fail the scanner and need to scan thumbprint.

the problem also the display never show face scan fail and need to scan thumb print, so whoever is inside the gantry just gong gong stand there and wait and everything is delayed.

I've always pressed my thumb on the scanner very hard, so after getting the latest passport, I just went ahead to continue pressing while glaring at the face scanner. Not failed once. 🤣

Today with the new scanner, I glared so hard that the gates opened before I could even check out the thumb scanner coz it's bigger. 😁

With half the hall full earlier, Counter 18 started helping to deal with the non-MACS/APEC holders. 👍
