i have been doing this, to me, much cheaper. and can change plans anytime whenever a cheaper sim only no contract plan is avail. Signing a 2yr contract is basically paying installment for the phone at RRP & tied for 2yr with a fixed price.

usually i just get a new phone a few mths after launch from neighbourhood shops, sell my old phones in carousell or tradein with those shops.

But SIM only does not come with auto roam. $20 plans no 5G. That's why I took CIS plan.

what i do is i sign up contract, get iphone and sell it to exporters on launch day as that will get quite a good profit.

i have multi line saver for my m1 lines at 30 percent off the subscription rate. so my contract subscription cost also cheaper. get iphone at contractual price then sell away. per phone profit always 1k or more. do it for 2 years aleady = 2k. can buy a flagship samsung phone for free.

oh and on top of that, my 30 percent discounted contract line from m1... the bill i also claim from company =x

I switched from CIS to sim only 2 years ago.

Pay as your roam is as good as auto roam as most of us if not all will activate some time-based roaming plan to lower roaming cost

5G is available via top up.

i using Myrepublic with 5G/80GB at less than $20/mth with 1GB roaming. No charges for over usage of data, speed will slow if data limit reached.

of cos, i not saying my suggestion is the best, it all depends on individual's requirements etc.
I seldom go oversea.

in case u may ask if is Myrepublic good. I ported over to M1 sim only due to their 5G plan from Myrepublic. M1 network really bad; data hangs even with full signal, calls cut off within 20sec etc. Ported back to Myrepublic after 3mth. Now with Myrepublic 5G, no issue

dont need QR code, there is none anyway

Just register in Samsung Member and the extended warranty option will be shown there if eligible

this time also leh. i last year october bought 3 sets of iphone 14 pro max from telco recontract. Sold to one vietnam exporter. took cab to my house and collect haha. i think per phone i paid only $1k due to contract price. Then he paid me $2250 per phone. thats $1250 profit per phone hehe

done that for the year 2021 too. year 2020 since covid, i sold to hp shop which offer Apple retail price + $20. So not too bad since mine was contract price so get it cheaper.

all the years add up profit, bought 2 sets of S23U for free lo haha

I think being able to claim your phone bill from your company is a key part. Since the bill carry part of the iPhone costs. Swee

But if those with company that don't let them pay, probably will have less meat on the bone to chew.
