there should be more sharing of actual trades/investments .... anyone found something good and cheap to buy??? 😅

Valuations are a bit expensive for me at the moment, though I guess I will just force myself to to my regular DCA of world ETFs. I will probably be putting more into FD/T-Bill as long as close to 4%.
Your Singtel drop back to 2.4x again

Google seems to be at an attractive valuation although it might continue to trend down due to ChatGPT
If GOOGL/GOOG is so innovative and is an AI powerhouse, have you wondered why is ARK funds not adding any GOOGL/GOOG shares at the current price levels? (There are GOOG shares in ARKQ & ARKX, but no addition). It is very telling that the "attractive" is certainly not there.

The problem with stock recommendation is that everyone can have their own "view." So the question is whether people can share what they are actually buying (or shorting - eg: anyone shorting GOOG?) Share what is Cathie buying is not so useful - i don't necessarily want to buy Coinbase.... :s13:

Why is ARK used as a benchmark here? Cathy woods is a one hit wonder. No QE, no Cathy

They have their reasons. Brett Winton from ARK publicly shared on CNBC just recently about how Alphabet's core biz model will be severely affected.

Why you love ark so much? Lol
I don't consider myself smarter than them. But they give out expensive inhouse research transparently for free. So why not eat free good food? Whether that research translates to profit, is up to individual trader/investor skill (can long or short).

Thanks for sharing. Not sure why some are so reluctant to share their trades/investments. Maybe scared to lose face if they share and the price go down? Myself, I'm totally ok if price go down, that means I can buy more :s13: 📊

All my recent purchases including S-REITs go red, only one that is constantly green is SWRD...

It really depends on the stock, I ban Telcos and Taxis already.

First month of 2023 is over. My portfolio is matching Vanguard World's returns! I have almost erased my 2022 losses.... However, I noticed that in Jan/Feb my portfolio was similarly green.. only to crash later... lets see what happens this year!

Mid-month check of my portfolio to confirm that I have finally fully recovered my 2021 losses. Took longer than expected but the extra time meant that I could DCA ETFs at lower prices.

CNBC operates on a pay to play model. If you pay money, you can get a spot to be interviewed to give your views.

I am actually thinking that topping up/averaging down REITs is a good idea in that there is more upside than downside at these levels, especially with the drop over the last week. Queuing for HMN today.

its very interesting but I would not normally associate Japan with dividends. I may be wrong because the website says the 12m trailing yield is a mouth-watering 6.6%!

One of my biggest holdings is VDPX which is yielding 4.05% and expense ratio 0.15%. I'm happy with 4%. I wouldn't actually mind getting IDAP if only ishares would get that expense ratio down.....

It is hard to know whether such high yield etf or funds actually pay out part of dividend from capital.

Stick with MBH but strangely last week never drop despite A35 falling.

I add up last year dividend and it was really above 6.6%..It has been around 5-6% yield for the last few year. I am looking to move away from my reit heavy portfolio and picking these dividend ETFs might be strategy moving forward.
