As usual, Samsung oversaturated colors, all the details get crushed
i saw comparison against the alienware version and there was noticeable difference in saturation.. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

think the general consumers may like it since their tv also similar

side by side comparison

apart from that oversaturation on samsung, definitely more fun and immersive playing on an ultrawide than a 16:9

16:9 and matte screen is like in the 2010s 🤭

alienware aw3423dwf definitely is better value buy as compared to the samsung g8 oled. just that dell havent release the firmware update for the hdr issue on the dwf.

thought long ago already can use hdr400 and hdr 1000?

i always set to hdr 1000 as it looks better.
I assume hdr = hdr 400 right? I’m using 400, later try 1000. 1000 seems very bright, my brightness setting is 100% now

think u dont know how to set haha..

u know there is windows HDR setting in your OS. even if u set brightness 100 on your OSD, the windows HDR bar still can adjust

just go to windows bottom right search bar, type HDR

a pop up appear. u can see that bar. go adjust lower HDR even if u on HDR1000

I think you got confused with the OS slider in HDR setting, it is for SDR content brightness in HDR mode, not for HDR brightness.
