Holiday Plaza WAS a thriving mall for pirated CDs back in the day...just like SLS back then but just more rampant. hahaHoliday plaza is a mall or a hotel?
There's one year during ramadan when we happened to meet an SG Malay friend near KSL. He told us that somewhere behind Holiday Plaza they'd a ramadan bazaar yearly. Not sure if still there this year, especially post-C19. Might want to see if you can ask any locals while you're in the area...Any idea if there's any ramandan bazaar / market near KSL / City Square area?
Cake as in those fancy-looking / creamy cakes? Or kueh lapis, non-creamy type of cakes?any good cake shops in Paradigm Mall? or any good cake shops overall?
looking to get a whole cake tomorrow, got a sick buffalo that will get after eating cake.

I only went there few weeks ago for the 1st time in close to a decade or so to 回味. Actually can't remember the last time I went there.
Now it is just hair/nail salons, hp repair shops. even the McD there closed (due to covid)
Holiday Villa is the hotel. 1 street crossing away KSL. Holiday Plaza is further away, some 5 minutes walk

Fancy-looking ones... somehow MidValley and even AEON Tebrau come to mind"Fancy" looking ones, can turn into a birthday cake.
But then again, a Kueh lapis birthday would definitely stand out.

Kueh lapis would be... Lavender?
IMO it takes a brave heart to bring a creamy cake all the way home with the hope that it'll stay in shape![]()

I bought only once... not exactly a fan of cakes and such. Probably price-wise considered an alternative to those in Batam?I find lavender so so. Dunno why so popular with Singaporeans.
