Just sharing this TT car rental I found on Google Maps, a bit scare coz no physical office and it’s an online stall. I placed deposit and collected the car on time at KSL Airbnb on Saturday and return on Monday total is Rm540 plus additional RM20 for them to deliver and collect from my collection.

Pretty decent car, very new, 7 seater Aruz, not sure what car but went to check YouTube and all so it’s all good. Easy to drive, aircon was powerful, tyre threads were new, brake and all working well. I brought my parents and the kids to Pontian fish market and Kota Tinggi firefly farm.

Payment is cashless via TnG and they refunded my deposit (after checking no traffic fines etc) after 3 days to my Singapore PayNow at good rate (3.33).

All in all a very good experience. Will rent again in the future.

They have a few places to pick up and return, RnF princess cove is one of them. Actually, I intended for my wife drive me there and drop me to collect the rental car, but end up I discussed with him, RM10 only and the staff will drive the car to KSL for us, makes our lives so much easier. KSL will be in front of Pizza Hut/KFC that stretch.

You can WhatsApp him to discuss, he is quite flexible and accommodating and prompt in his replies. He also provides shuttle to and fro Singapore for those who don’t drive, he quoted my sister $180 during March holidays. $180 is pick up from any location in Singapore and drop off at KSL and then return journey.

Have. It's called SOCAR. You can google. Have BMW and a wide range of models. One way rentals are quite useful.

My friend rented from Socar~ their cars are equipped with smoke & speed sensors~ my friend smoke in the car, later they email him with a smoke graph with date & time details and he was asked to pay a penalty of rm100~

just a reminder for those that think can anyhow whack rental car~ :s22:

I took a Perodua Bezza from Eurocar at JB Sennai Airport in June, pay full coverage and the return handover was easy, over under 3mins. The lease was for 2 weeks and drove it all the way up to Royal Belum Lake so sometimes the road conditions aren't the best. Actually added some minor knocks from road gravel and a small crack on the windscreen but the abang just let it go.

If you are an ACCOR member, book your Accor hotel room first and then get the link back to Eurocar for a 25% discount I think. And don't select the cheapest option without full insurance coverage.
Great info

I rented for the first time from Causeway Car Rental. Its free pickup location is better than Wahdah's JB Hub. From the checkpoint, head for Komtar, exit using its main entrance on Jalan Wong Ah Fook then cross to the Zenith Mall (Haidilao). Go up to the second floor of the mall and exit the mall on Jalan Trus. Walk against the direction of traffic until the far end (you will walk past the Restoran Amma, the Double Tree and Maria Hospital), where you will see a pedestrian overhead bridge. Cross to the other side using this bridge to the open car park. Causeway Car Rental has its office at the other end of the car park. Wahdah's JB Hub is another 5min walk away in the same direction, and there is no proper walking path.

Positive. All the staff I encountered spoke English. The office had a small seating area and the inspection area was sheltered. The Proton Saga I rented was new and free of problems. I posted an RM200 deposit when I collected the vehicle and it was released just hours after I returned the car.
Both Wahdah and Causeway Car Rental are in good position to capitalise on the launch of the RTS, though the latter has the edge because the station is literally behind it.

Right, car was serviceable then which is good to hear. What about the return process though?
DId they nitpick, try to find faults to get more money etc.? Is there anything that need to be taken note of?
Compared to SoCar which is worst as we know with car sharing.

I did not experience any nit-picking. Photos were taken during the return, and the deposit was released the same evening.

Oh yes, what's the deposit like though?
Requested for licensce verification and deposit only or any additional documentations?
Passport and license are requested for verification. The RM200 deposit has to be paid online using a link they provide by Whatsapp or in any email they sent beforehand. I do not think they deal in cash at the office.
