Just leave the food at the security guard counter lor, what's so difficult? if customer complain then tell the customer the security guard don't allow. Any issue complain to MCST, don't aim the rider/delivery company

The condo Management also brainless. Those people are the residents themselves
The condo's management won't resort to such drastic measures unless the couriers have been parking indiscriminately blocking entrances, outside lobbies, in residents' lots or on sidewalks in the past.
I mentioned before, a certain condo has some 1st floor units where their balconies are right at the edge of their swimming pool … this condo has some of the strictest house rules on swimming pool use … coaching only allowed on weekdays office hours not allowed on weekends, no inflatables allowed in the pool, etc.

Y’all know why? That’s because the chairperson lives in 1 of these edge-of-swimming-pool units  Push to insert all these in house rules in the name of “They are earning money here so they jolly well follow the rules …” … of course she won’t say it’s because swimming pool users disturb her peace, she won’t get the support needed to pass resolution if she did.

But yeah … about no parking food delivery vehicles inside, confirm is knee jerk reaction to indiscriminate parking, park bicycles in car lots, delivery riders hanging around at the condo after delivery sit at their benches or BBQ pits using their phone (I guess waiting for / choosing next job) … that gives opportunity to pushing to add by-laws.

All food delivery guys should just blacklist the whole place.

Disgruntled residents often form organised groups to expropriate proceedings at condo AGMs. While there are council members whose intentions are honourable, there are others who use the platform to advance their personal agendas.

Most condo residents wrestle over issues such as inconsiderate behaviour in the gym or around the swimming pool and barbecue pits, as well as leaks between floors, disputes over car parking, littering, excessive noise or financial management matters. Other issues include indiscriminate parking by couriers, in all likelihood, led to the ban on their bikes entering the premises.

I used to work in condo management a long, long time ago.

IIRC a Special Resolution needs to be passed for something like this. That means it requires a certain percentage of approval from the residents living there.

If I had to hazard a guess, some retiree resident there with too much time on his/her hands proposed this, thus forcing the Management Committee to put forward the SA. Then said retiree started canvassing, got it passed, and the MC now has no option but to instruct security to carry out the instructions.

Gents, kindly be reminded that security is not your enemy. They are poorly paid, stuck in the middle, and have to follow orders or risk getting their pay docked through liquidated damages.

Like everyone has said above, just decline orders from this place. It's not worth the risk. Some folks need to be taught a lesson when they try to activate their mouth before their brain.
Means this MSCT sucks! That’s why PAP Govt don’t want these retirees to retire and do nothing.

I have seen couriers try to chat up the maids, use the washrooms by the pool, hang around to eat their lunch or make phone calls within my condo's premises. I don't mind, but other residents may have issues with that.

Blame the security also no use... the one enacted this rule likely the MCST. Don't clamp the security loses his job, clamp, the delivery rider earnings gone. Too bad.. Higher powers at play here and they're hiding behind their titles.

Condo residents generally have high and often unrealistic expectations the moment they shift in; becoming more demanding, protective of their rights and less tolerant of inconsiderate neighbours. However, few homeowners know or bother about how to take care of their estate. HDB upgraders, used to town council services, believe in leaving the running of their estate to someone else. That's why those on the condo council have a thankless job.

Must see who is chaired or the people responsible within this MSCT
AGMs are usually poorly attended owing to apathy. Attendance tends to surge only when there is a significant increase in maintenance charges, news of a possible en bloc sale or when several homeowners have an axe to grind with the management council. Some members serve only to advance their own agendas.

Then these estate managers sure kena 9696. And also must see if they have budget to upkeep the condo.

Then the residents have themselves to blame. I don’t want to hear anymore complains.

It is just like a baby. You don’t take care and expect the baby to auto grow up and well behaved?

If that’s the case. I agree with PAP’s narrative to let these retirees to go back to work. Rather than eat too full nothing better to do.

That’s why I disagree with Opportunistic oppo who talked about retirement. Why these people do such nonsense.
