Expressway Facing or HDB facing?

Planning to get a unit but may be only left with some options..

out of these options, which will you pick? This will be an EC at Tampines Tenet.

1) High floor, pool view, but expressway facing (69m) $1370psf
2) low floor, hdb view, no expressway, same price as 1)

anyone with direct experience.. would appreciate.

Depends on far the expressway is from the unit but in most cases it will be very noisy and generates a lot of dust.

2 is best choice

Nv get facing expressway. Very dusty, may not feel it but it's there.

1: noisy and dusty.

fengshui says cannot face expressways, all the luck kena pulled along the traffic

Stayed at a block next to expressway. I could not sleep without closing all the windows.

The noise from car speeding in midnight is very loud. I changed house the moment I could do so.

Then again, facing hdb, how far from expressway? still have some level of noise from the road too.

69 m to expressway is quite far.

should have less noise and dust issue.

can do a house visit and feel it.

hdb facing is very very far away. Shouldn’t have any noise.

jus not too sure whether high floor + pool view but have to be paid with noise (69m away) or hdb facing low floor for peaceful living

Well, like what others have said, there are pros and cons if u wanna have the best of both worlds, so u might as well look for another unit other than these 2.

My workplace is around 10-20m from the expressway below. I can hear the background noise from my floor (10+ storey), plus the car crashes that happen occasionally. That's with no windows opened.

I cant imagine what's the noise like with the windows opened.
