Yeah, should be arriving Oct 23?yeah Zenfone as a whole not as polished in terms of hardware and software optimisation.

Main attraction for me was the compactness of the phone with flagship specs and the good battery life. Good as work phone.

I don't feel the 10 is much better than the 9, instead, it feels very similiar. Battery life seems to have improved slightly though
Not polished as in good or bad? I assumed not polished mean near stock Android experience which is good.

The UI is very important for each user. I use pixel so probably no issues. U should revert to Samsung if u prefer that UI
For me I'm still ok, Samsung has some radio issues with network connectivity for both S23U I had previously. Zenfone 10 though not a local set doesn't face such issues. Getting to like the phone more over time. Now using nova launcher. Much nicer UI

No official sets available. Only export sets from Taiwan with official global rom available.

I got mine from Mobile Hardware.
How much you pay for it and the specs btw? And no warranty I assumed unless send it back to Taiwan, if that option is available from MHW?

Its 8/256gb, price was slightly over 1k if I remember correctly....
No warranty but MH can help ship back to taiwan for warranty claim.

My theory is, anything wrong, ask MH send back claim warranty repair, buy another phone to use, phone comes back, offload to MH and recover some monies.

Maybe I'm comparing to the S23U, quite prefer the One UI experience. Zenfone 10 is raw Android

If i'm not wrong, there are some Asus UI settings in the ROG phone and it can also be changed to stock android ones.
Not sure if such options are also available in zenfone.

Yes Zenfone 10 can choose between stock android and Asus UI. I just use Nova Launcher which looks way nicer 😁

Is it MHW the only shop that will arrange the phone to be sent back to Taiwan if there's issue within the warranty period? I'm contemplating this phone and mi 13u, I know they are both a very different phone, currently using Pixel 5 so I'm not sure if I still want to go with the same size phone. I used the Pixel 7p before and like the camera so the camera quality is quite important for me, how is ZF10 camera fare? Thanks.

Then buy 7 or 7a ? Both are discounted right now. Unless you really don't prefer the Tensor SoC
Based on the reviews i have seen so far, the zf10 camera is good but not Pixel good. IMO, the only reason to buy it is that you want the sd8g2 in the smallest phone possible.

I never see the appeal of pixel phones with their subpar battery life, midrange processor, slower charging. Only saving grace is the faster firmware update which can also be a mess if there are any buggy updates.

Zenfone 10 has the edge with flagship hardware and better battery life, while being lighter too. Also can choose higher storage at 512GB and faster read/write speeds with UFS 4.0 compared to pixel UFS 3.1 (old 2020).

Camera performance wise, both are good but anyone is into pixel peeping into images then both are nowhere near the best. One tends to oversharpen and the other smudges small details.

I think the pixel series is like overpriced at normal retail prices.
For the keen eyed, it is using some older hardware to save cost so not sure anyone is serious about future proofing when it can get more firmware updates but running on inferior innards.

Only bummer is zenfone 10 not available here for local warranty.

S23 and upcoming Xperia 5V also are similar in size

Thanks bro, want to try other phones beside Google Pixel. Zenfone 10 is a good choice but contemplating to get a better camera phone like Mi 13u.

For warranty, few threads above mentioned that MH will help to send back the phone to Taiwan if there's any issues, so if this is true then it's not so bad.
