I never see the appeal of pixel phones with their subpar battery life, midrange processor, slower charging. Only saving grace is the faster firmware update which can also be a mess if there are any buggy updates.
Zenfone 10 has the edge with flagship hardware and better battery life, while being lighter too. Also can choose higher storage at 512GB and faster read/write speeds with UFS 4.0 compared to pixel UFS 3.1 (old 2020).
Camera performance wise, both are good but anyone is into pixel peeping into images then both are nowhere near the best. One tends to oversharpen and the other smudges small details.
I think the pixel series is like overpriced at normal retail prices.
For the keen eyed, it is using some older hardware to save cost so not sure anyone is serious about future proofing when it can get more firmware updates but running on inferior innards.
Only bummer is zenfone 10 not available here for local warranty.
