Anyone bought mattress recently? Go for reputable brands or those mattress in the box brands?

Those reputable brands can cost 3 to 5 times those newer mattress in the box brands. Anyone tried Emma or Noa before? Sealy, Kong Koil, Simmons all very expensive. Worth it?

generally in the box is not good for longevity. i bought slumberland and four star. extremely pleased so far
also note some brands which have in the box models also got fiberglass shards etc. can pose a health risk

5-6 years ago, i bought sealy for $2-3k. yeah it is good, but now the dent in where people sleep at is very obvious, making it uncomfortable.

so i change strategy, now i bought the mattress in box to try out, it costs less than 1k, then maybe replace it every 3-4 years.

Currently using box brand mattress for 3 years.

The box brand mattress feels warmer to sleep on. I sleep with aircon so it doesnt really bother me.

Nobody in my family is over 100kg so the mattresses all look ok even after using a few years.

Get pure latex mattress from Malaysia. Latex is the highest end cushion material.
Trap least heat, last longer, antimicrobial, etc.

If use spring, it's cheaper and the mattress lighter, thicker. Has more resistance and support.

Branded mattress buy from the same suppliers in Asia as spare part and chop you like Robert. Even the springs and fabric are outsourced from others, they mainly just do the assembly part and slap their brand.

their somnuz mattress not bad on sales day queen size can be 2xx only, if u dont mind the edge will sink down

no complains for the price
