Get pure latex mattress from Malaysia. Latex is the highest end cushion material.
Trap least heat, last longer, antimicrobial, etc.

If use spring, it's cheaper and the mattress lighter, thicker. Has more resistance and support.

Branded mattress buy from the same suppliers in Asia as spare part and chop you like Robert. Even the springs and fabric are outsourced from others, they mainly just do the assembly part and slap their brand. :(

Is it expensive since it's pure latex ? I assume it's natural latex ? 🤑

just placed an order for Simmons Silver Series King Size Mattress (made in Canada) with double layer pocketed spring system, e-ION layer, 3 different kinds of gel & sponge combo layers. Firm yet plush. Another one from BeautyRest series (made in Japan) also not bad but used simpler components and no double layer pocketed spring system. Price slightly cheaper.
Also tried Serta.
Don't fully depend on recommendations because everyone's feel is different. Even same brand under a structured measurement on firmness can feel different due to differences in production locations, eg. made in Japan vs made in Canada.
Have fun exploring.

Those reputable brands can cost 3 to 5 times those newer mattress in the box brands. Anyone tried Emma or Noa before? Sealy, Kong Koil, Simmons all very expensive. Worth it?

Most mattresses manufactured in GZ. Cost price for 1 is US$200-US$300. But sell to sinkies is S$3k-S$10k.

Not really.
Brands like mylatex were very cheap less than 2k 5 years back. Certified pure and non toxic at that time.

Some brands retail pure latex selling for 5k for don't know what reason.

King koil is worth it. Mine last for 10 over years. No need to flip some more. Even my kids prefer that to their unbranded mattresses.....

I wouldn't mind paying a couple of k for a mattress that would relieve me of my aches and pains. But how do I know before I buy it, that a particular mattress will do that?

most of the brands ads a trial period  , in theory, you can try them all.

Not sure what's the reality though
