u can just replace the gpu with the 4070 or 7800xt, and if u play at higher resolutions then there shouldnt be any issues like cpu bottlenecks. it is quite a step up in price though, and u might as well go for the enthusiast reco, so it might be be a better idea to use the value gaming pc reco as a base since cpu gaming performance is very similar for a lot cheaper (i should subsume the midrange reco as a value reco upgrade ...). the builds that system integrators offer are pretty good value nowadays, so might be difficult to beat their pricing, especially the one i mentioned which is basically the enthusiast reco for a lot less money.

yep 7500f + 4070ti is the best value, the 7500f is just a 7600 with 100mhz lower clocks and without the integrated igpu, so basically the same thing in gaming. but as mentioned previously, if u want 4070ti performance and not urgent, best to wait for the super refresh.

true, the puny 6cu igpu in my 4350g proved a godsend when my good ol 580 uplorry last week :frown:

u build itx confirm need pay itx tax, of course more expensive.

u dont have to wait for sales or fight with others for vouchers with system integrators though, they have been offering these prices for quite a while liao.

are u going to downsize the case? if not then i think the mobo change will be more hassle than is worth. u can also contact invaderpc to see how much they quote for ram and ssd upgrade (ram upgrade already available before u add to cart on their website), but not sure why u would buy the same cpu again.

why do that when they also sell 4070 build with 30% more gpu performance for just $30 more? 4060ti is a bad deal at current prices.
then bro.. what gpu are u buying?

SLS dont sell (well i did not really search the whole SLS, just some main ones) 7500F bundles with MB... Lowest is 7600 bundles and that CPU is already $50-$60 more?

The SN 850x bought locally more expensive....

All in all, buying seperate components is a hassle and all the seperate warranty is a handful to manage. For some ppl, the trill of the chase is more fun than the end product.

For simple, carefree and fast delivery (buying components seperate may take a few weeks), bundle is better. I bought bundle (cause i need a PC immediately) and build my own... So depending on ur need.

Imo dreamcore now looks expensive, Invander so far looks like the better deal, aftershock not far behind. I was looking recently, but decided to built cause my kid wanted a NZXT Kraken elite AIO.

Maybe i should have agreed buy on the spot when he at the start ask me to buy Invander 4060ti $1515 bundle....

Dreamcore is expensive because they are stupid to put X670 and intel higher end boards.

I have compared them and I found that to be the reason.

Bro, I not stupid. I compared their itx build against mine.

Mine still came out more expensive.

They still bundle last gen CPU (5600 with B550) at the same price.... Even when they go to AM5 at next level , its the A620 m/b.

Thanks for your input. I think i will wait for q1 2024, and save up for 4070ti super since this will likely address the vram concern for 4070ti .

@NightRaven49 im just gona use back my nzxt h210 that’s why I need a mITX mobo.. if I keep all and only change mobo.. maybe the hassle is worth it for a 4060 upgrade? Haha or I can buy any cheap cpu to replace that 7500f and get another com out of it….

Cant fight invader price.

Really cant fight if you self DIY, I recently build an itx and I compared against invader pricing.

They are at least 15% cheaper.

I still DIY because of the parts I used chosen to be efficient in terms of cooling vs noise.

Plus they dont have the case I want.
i just bought an invader set, told them dont like the default casing , they offered me dynacore cpu case list to choose from, but still i wanted something else from the list , they help me to bring in the case just top up whatever difference is the price..

Works if you are not fussy like me.

I wanted a Revolt 3 case which they dont carry,
I also wanted a 6000MTs CL30 which not available locally,
I also wanted a Bequiet 280mm Silent Loop which they also dont carry.

So the price delta still no big enough for me.

well if the performance is still satisfactory to u i dont see any reason to upgrade. otherwise, deepblues suggestion of 5600/5800x3d for cpu and 6700xt/7800xt for gpu are great ideas, along with selling the old parts. that good 750w psu can go as far as a 7900xt or 4070ti, though id say a 4070/7800xt is a good enough leap in performance.

oh i forgot about the h210 :s13: well ur effectively buying the whole system just for the gpu, and theres no gpu shortage nowadays. the 4060 can be easily had for about 450, though id get the 6700xt for that money. the nvme and psu are not great too, so it sounds like a lot of trouble to try saving a bit of money, if at all.

Hello all experts. Noob here but still trying to learn about builds.

Option #1(InvaderPC):

For option 1, is this a decent build and price point overall for like casual gaming?

2nd pic is upgrades added to the pre build that invaderpc provides.
InvaderPC: Ready to ship price at $1499 but now discounted price is $993 before the add on upgrades.

Option #2(Mansa):

Option #3(Special edition, this seems tempting good deal?):

Thanks for any advise 🙏🏻
Been looking through Mansa and InvaderPC(Mansa good service, but like more pricier side, InvaderPC seems cheaper and like decent review for their service.)

Option 2 and 3 is no go, the pricing is too high for a rtx 4060 build.... Option 2 is the worst, most ex and not even am5

Option 3 is also ex for what they offer, but I guess if you want the SF theme, then its probably fine, also comes with monitor. I would ask them about their brochure though, are they offering B650M or A620M mobo, there is no such thing as B620M

Option 1 is the best, you get a better gpu RTX 4060 Ti and at a cheaper price of 993 promo. The only real upgrade you need to do is the PSU, which you have chosen a decent one
Since you mention casual, 16gb is enough, no need 32gb.
No need the Samsung sata 1tb ssd also, just ask them to upgrade the base crucial P3 plus from 1tb to 2tb. Next time you can just buy a HDD if you need more space to archive your media files
CPU no need upgrade to 5600X, pretty pointless. Its either you stick with the base 5600 or you upgrade to 5700X or the more expensive 5800X3D

Yeah the pic put b620m but the website actually is a620m plus. Option 3 got give monitor but not really high end type, cost around $200, then give headset, mouse and keyboard that's why look tempting. But I know all is average accessories only haha.
Thanks for the tips.
Also do you guys do activate Windows 10/11? Or left it unactivated.

I believe custom builders like mansa and invaderpc charges 100+ for the activation
You can just buy it unactivated, then go to shopee and buy the key for $8-10, ownself activate
