Bought C745 55 inch on 11.11 from Shopee.
Received without free soundbar today.
Shop chat says soundbar out of stock and may deliver at a later time <--- Sure or not?

So far ok and enjoying TV.
Hi, did you receive your sound bar and subwoofer already?

I just received my TV today, no sound bar also, the person said need to wait for another 2 weeks…

Awesome thank you! It just arrived today at 9+pm when delivery was supposed to be 2-7pm. Delivery guy said too many units sold on 11.11. He still had 4 more sets to deliver after leaving my place at 10+.

I noticed that the provided power cable was barely long enough after routing through my feature wall cable channel. If i want to buy a new one, its just a normal pc power supply cable right?

About 2.5k after applying all vouchers, excluding upgraded bracket which I topped up for
Wow. 75" is going for almost $3k now.

Hi, my YouTube app on P735 will randomly hang/crash the TV. Can only reboot by off/on main switch. Is there anything I can do to reduce the hangs? Eg update the apps, but can't find the playstore on the TV lol.
Can try to use the guard tv apps to clear some storage space. When watching some time will accumulate a lot of trash which u can clear from time to time. Hope it helps.

tcl tv the google play store changed to App Store . It’s the same. Just on top of the screen called App Store

Hi everyone , sorry for asking .
I don't know much about android tv
or Google tv , any recommend less than 1k?
Or how about this 2 models 👇👇👇
Tcl c645 55inch
Or
Sharp 4T-C55EK2X 55inch
https://www.harveynorman.com.sg/tv-...MI2YiNmNvwggMV5iGDAx3q_gdXEAAYASAAEgKO3_D_BwE

Which 1 can install 3rd party app from website ?
If cannot , can connect to smartphone and use the 3rd party app on the tv right ?
And if using phone to watch movie , the screen size will be full size on the tv or just half size only .

Thank you 🙏🙏🙏

Not sure about sharp but tcl c645 is google tv and should be able to install typical apps from app store and from external ones like smarttubenext. But the app has to be google tv compatible not just random android app.

Phone to tv, if use chromecast via app like localcast kind is full screen but not sure about screen mirroring kind though.

imo get the one with better warranty, fyi tcl is cheap for a reason haha.

After 1+ weeks of use, I find that compared to my previous Samsung Q60T 75", the visuals on my C845 75" are undoubtedly better - colours look alot more vibrant and bright. However, I find the remote is not as sensitive and because the IR receiver is positioned at the bottom of the screen, it's easily blocked if your central speaker/soundbar is not totally below the screen. For me, my central speaker is just nice a few mm below the screen only, but when I'm sitting on the sofa pointing the remote, because of the angle pointing upwards, the speaker will block the IR receiver on the TV. Had no such issues with my Samsung. Design issue or maybe less sensitive IR receiver used to allow for lower pricing. Other than that, OS is also slightly laggier than the Samsung, but not to dealbreaker levels I can live with it.

C845 supposedly is a lot brighter and have local dimming compared to q60t, explains your experience of vibrant and bright.

How is the black bar though, review say it’s raised and grey. Also, is it really a lot brighter than your q60t? Day time open window bright kym?

TCL remote thought got bluetooth one leh

Isn't the remote Bluetooth connected? Only require the IR to Switch on the tv.

No issues with the black bars. Inky black for me. I can't comment on brightness in a bright room as the TV is in my home theater so always dark. It's definitely brighter and more vibrant in dark room environment though. Waiting for 12.12 to see if got a good deal on the 55" version to upgrade my dining room TV from the same model Samsung Q60T. That TV is always watched in bright conditions so I can share more if there's a good deal (I heard 11.11 the 55" price was $13XX so if they match that on 12.12 I think I'll get it).

Do I need to do anything special to enable the Bluetooth on the remote ? The insensitivity of the remote is very noticeable to me and it helps when I stand up and point downwards versus sitting in the sofa as my central speaker blocks the bottom bezel of the TV.

Does anyone know, if I run a Plex server on a NAS in my house, does the TV support Dolby Atmos natively if I play movies from my Plex server directly on the TV? Or do I need to stream through an Nvidia Shield TV Pro in order to get Dolby Atmos? My wife has alot of bluray and 4k bluray discs that take up alot of space so I was thinking of digitalizing her collection. However it seems that most devices can't support Dolby Atmos via Plex which puzzles me. We currently watch her discs on my ps5 that is connected via an av receiver and Dolby Atmos works fine

Check under setting remote & accessories if it’s connected. If not iirc click ok and home for like 5s.

Looking to buy a TCL mini LED tonight. was initially considering stretching the budget for a 75” C825 (clearance?) but i think it is probably too big for the living room so most likely going to be a 65” C845. Quite stupid that TCL is making buyers do a pre order on Lazada though.

Just took delivery of my C645 (43 in) yesterday. I noticed there's quite an amount of apparent juddering and artifacting with and without motion smoothing when watching local TV broadcast or any content where the framerate isn't 30/60fps. Is this normal? It is quite apparent with moving hands, background, objects etc.

I know it manifests as minor stuttering on my PC monitors whenever there's this multiples-mismatch of framerate between content and display. But it is more serious on the TV.

I also noticed that HDR10 content don't display the correct tonemapping with videos in AV1 format, be it in Media Player or Youtube. So that's a quirk to take note. I'm a serial 2x-speeder in Youtube, and it tends to skip frames (not fully smooth), though it is still bearable. I won't be doing this on the TV most of the time anyway. Understandable due to the cheaper SoC used.

But other than that, the black displayed, HDR10+ and contrast ratio are really miles ahead of the recently-kaput LG from 2016 that this replaced. And this is a lot cheaper in comparison.
