Using the superadmin login to SH Nokia ONR, I got bridging to work. Not sure how long before they TR-069 me to revert it back. Although I can turn TR-069 off in the settings as well.

I also do notice my throughput dropping every now and then. Not sure if it's bridging or the instability of the ONR or the PON itself. Or if they're throttling me for using a different MAC to request DHCP.

PS: sorry I won't be sharing a guide as it's somehow undocumented and not everyone would get their superadmin passwords.

I mean set the channels for your router

2.4GHz band to 20/40MHz channel
5GHz band to 80MHz channel
6GHz band to 160MHz channel

I believe the 160MHz channel in 5GHz band can be separately enable/disable, right? Mine can for my ASUS WiFi 6e ET12 router

One more thing. Go to the WiFi adapter setting on your PC below and check whether the settings are correct. WiFi 7 adapter should display additional settings

I tried adjusting my adaptor. It looks to be correct. I shall try the router settings. That one I haven't try to tweak. Didn't dare to anyhow do. The 6 ghz band they don't allow changing the bandwidth

Wah mine less than 5gbps on my PC with tp link 10gbpe card, Singtel. On the service crew, on his laptop even more rabak 2gbps.
They are going back to retrieve another laptop to test on their side.

*Update*
After plugging his power adaptor to the laptop he gotten 8+ which was normal for Singtel. However, my PC is still on 4+gbps. I'm wondering if it's my cable issue now.

check your cable? what kind of cable are you using, and how long is it?
is it because of my cable ?
i saw ugreen cat7 ones on shopee which is flat but isn't the gold connector.
Another listing of unheard brand also marketing as cat 7 flat cable, gold connector but cheaper than the ugreen one by almost 40%

flat cables are more susceptible to crosstalk and other interference. If you have the normal round cables you can try those instead.

by spec, cat6 is enough for 10GbE up to 55m. if your cable is short enough even cat5e can do 10GbE.

avoid flat cables unless you really have to use it.

No choice, have to use flat cable for sure as its near impossible to go pass to the other room. Don't know the cat 7 cable wu hao xiao bo

then bobian liao. I won't splurge extra for what cat7 or cat 8 if you're still stucked using a flat cable.

there's probably enough crosstalk and inteference in your environment that it's not possible to negotiate 10GbE using flat cables, so it fell back to 5GbE instead.

I'm also facing the same dilemma with 2 adjacent rooms no LAN cables. A few ways for me

1) Hack an opening from 1 room to the other room
2) As the door gap below is 2mm I cannot run round cable so need to use flat cable (CAT 6 will do) as I'm using MoCA 2.5. The length of cable I measured ia about 17m going from 1 room to the other
3) As my aircon duct is running from 1 room to the other I can run the LAN cable inside the aircon duct. The measured length is very much shorter.
4) Lastly, just use WiFi

I believe I'll choose the 3rd option

In your case if you have aircon duct running from one room to the other, like me, you can run the LAN cable inside the aircon duct

Try adjusting but no use leh. Even try to adjust my 5ghz to 240mhz. But on the bright side, my 5ghz became faster lol

My ac trunking start from the last room but router at living room, so not possible to go from ac trunking Liao.

I think no choice Liao, try my luck with flat cable and see how it goes Liao. Worse come to worst, I will find time nobody at home secretly hoot the walls with my trusty drill *wink wink*

Since the router is at the hall you need to run your own trunking along the walls (I suggest bottom side) till it reaches the aircon trunking then the job will be easier for you to run the LAN cables inside the aircon trunking

If you don't want to hack a hole in the wall then run your own trunking below side till it reaches the nearest room. See what's the gap below the door. The thinnest LAN cable is 6mm diameter. If it can go below then fiine.

If you have a 3-split unit aircon then the aircon trunking should cover the 3-rooms i.e. master room and the other 2 rooms.

Like this

Run own trunking from router to nearest room ===> Check gap below door ===> If gap is more than 6mm then run round LAN cable below door to the room.

From here run own trunking till it reaches aircon duct ===> then run LAN cables inside aircon duct to all the rooms

JFI

I just completed running my own trunking from the router at the far end of the hall to the nearest front room. The gap below the door is large so I ran round LAN cable below it. I did not use the aircon duct in the front room because my front room is the media room so the LAN cable terminates there.

As for the master room I'm using MoCA through the old TV antenna points i.e from the hall to the master room. So running to the back room is either below the 2mm gap door using flat cable or use round cable using the aircon duct from the master room to the back room.

Alternatively, since I'm using a 10Gbps switch, I could have run 3 LAN cables from the switch in the hall to the front room, back room and master room and this time I'll need to run inside the aircon duct. The part from the router to the front room will still need to run own trunking

I'm using U/UTP CAT 6a round LAN cables. For S/FTP I'm not sure what's the thinnest round LAN cable

Anything thicker will have slight difficulty in running.

See the yellow and white cables I'm holding. Both are CAT 6a U/UTP. The white is much thicker than the 6mm yellow one. My 10Gbps main cable from the router to my desk is using the white one. Lucky the thicker white cable can go below the front room door. Some difficulty to run since I custom-made it first
