Go to Genting go and stay at the more expensive hotels. Don’t stay at the **** first world…..

Exactly, so many defect in FW hotel and never bother to upgrade or repair the defects, simply bcos now their room occupancy is high and alway full and have forgotten the basic customer service

Genting is no longer the old Genting we know, expenses is can compare to Singapore or KL

Other than that weather is getting hot, one can dun wear sweater/jacket & u wun feel cold

FW hotel room sucks, lot of amenities is spoilt

Very likely since u check in using the DIY vending and they will assign any available room to you

I now in genting too, now in hotel toilet pang sai and edmw. Many many people in first and second floor, i go third floor lesser people and less smoker in sky casino. Many prc in casino. Some prc gal quite pretty

KUALA LUMPUR: Resorts World Genting has clarified that the closure of two of its three casinos in Genting Highlands is temporary, and done to upgrade its facilities.

"In our ongoing effort to improve our operational efficiency and enhance the gaming and entertainment experience for our guests, we continuously upgrade our facilities. This will involve temporarily closing certain sections of our casino to facilitate the improvements," Resorts World Genting said in a notice on its website.

It added that its gaming operations continue to operate as usual.

The closure affects Genting Casino 1 (Circus Palace) and Genting Casino 2 (Hollywood).


SkyCasino is operating as per normal. An earlier announcement by the company on its website stated that the two casinos were closed effective Feb 28, 2024.

It did not specify the reason behind the closure of the two older casinos.

According to a report from Oriental Daily, fewer people were visiting the 'older' casinos after the pandemic, with more guests preferring the SkyCasino's flashy atmosphere.

It said the International Room, once bustling in these older zones, has also seen significantly fewer visitors, prompting a shift to focus on accommodating patrons at the newer gaming establishment
