Didn't took note of name . Only recently around 2-3 weeks bk. Jus told them didn't drop and suddenly on phone got line

Just got off the phone with samsung.. (they called me) and they reiterated that my device was out of warranty and they cannot offer me the $54 repair because they assess on a case by case basis.

I asked them how my case differed they cannot answer...

Had my mum's S20+ screen replaced for $54 + they changed a new battery + applied a new screen protector.

Had green lines. Yes paid $54 for labour only since the phone was out of warranty a long time ago.

Mine also have green line. What I was told in Samsung Vivocity is that if I send in for repair, I need to pay $54 but if they assess that it is the mainboard problem, I would need to pay 400++. Basically, it is a gamble. Does it not the case with those who pay only $54? You win you pay $54 but lose you pay $400++

I'm just surprised at the number of green lines on other people's phones in public when i randomly glance at people's screens. It really is quite common.

How do they live with that bright green line? I cannot la.

My mum's S20+ was out of warranty years ago, but she only needed to pay $54 labour for a panel change with a complimentary battery change and screen protector too.
