Thinking of using my DBS VISA DEBIT card to top up TNG wallet, in order to top up my RFID TNG card.

I vaguely remember there is an admin charge. Is it true?

CC got fees. Apparently one of my friend said amex gives very good Fx rates , can clock points, but has an attendant transaction fee.

Alternatively use Youtrip ( since iChange cannot do that anymore ) to reload TNG eWallet to top up TNG card.

Can trust card (saving account, not credit account) be used to top up TNG wallet?

Oh thanks for the info.

I am intending to use a Debit Card so as to avoid the CC fees

1st time I went there tried their iberico pork. The staff ask me for feedback. I told them "how come Iberico taste so jiat lat" than he gave some excuse blah blah. Frankly the price is pricey. Will I go again. Nope.

Just found out from a long time ex school mate that he failed to secure sg PR after applying.

He spends almost his entire life working in sg and more than 30 years at Sbs.

I Feel so sorry for him that when they eventually let him retire, he will have to leave sg (kick out of sg )

worst of all, as a poor man without the cpf nor their MY EPF…

He contributed to sg in all his useful life and this is what he gets…

But if old is better to retire in malaysia due to lower cost ?

Whats his motivation / reasons to get PR?

I think our seniors here also quite sad, Noticed more seniors (w white hair or mobility issues ) crossing the border just to buy some food or groceries .

He is single.

His wages is pathetic even with long service.

He said he managed to meet the salary requirement for sg PR at age 59 or 60after working life long at sbs and was rejected.

If he had been successful, at least he can collect cpf to retire comfortably when they let him go as a form of recognition of his long service as a sbs staff.

He was made to work split shift, driving on peak hours: early morning and evening.

I feel so sorry for him cos don’t think he has much savings with such pathetic pay after paying for rental and all expenses.

He shared that he would have to return to his demised parents home when he retires.
