I didn't mentioned here these days because I was thinking Metformin might be the cause since I ever experienced black stools years back ,that's why I stopped

Waa... Black stool is serious business. Means there is ulcer or intestine bleeding. Will need to do gastroscopy to find out where is bleeding internally. Hopefully no need to do colonoscopy.

Think it's a logical inference of your low red blood cells count + black stool.

You might have been internally bleeding for some time (prior to your blood test).

Liver is storage tank for glucose. It will pump it full to use as reserve when your body didn't eat for a few days.

That's the opposite of gluconeogenesis mah. To use as reserve, it will need to convert glucose back to glycogen which is opposite of pumping more glucose into blood.

Cannot Iron teeth cos if not manage properly can anytime get free upgrade to insulin dependent, then still don't get their act tgt will get level up to high resistence insulin dependent, by this level, their kidney health might be affected, it is a matter of time to get the ultimate upgrade to End Stage Kidney Disease aka Kidney Failure.

And he let me choose between endo or colono which he added the latter is not urgent unless needed

Stomach cancer signs and symptoms
a painful or burning sensation in the abdomen

heartburn or indigestion (dyspepsia)

a sense of fullness, even after a small meal

nausea and/or vomiting

loss of appetite and/or weight loss

swelling of the abdomen

unexplained tiredness or weakness

blood in vomit

black-coloured faeces.

Just stay positive ( I know is not easy ) . Nothing one. I also blood in urine for many years n keep imagine thing like kidney problem prostate cancer but no courage to see doctor …. I rem the first time I go for healthscreening n waiting for the doctor to go through the report , my heart really beat very fast n worry like hell but turn out my kidney no problem PSA reading also ok. but still got RBC 5 in urine. In the end I go polyclinic get referral letter to see urologist . Do all kind of test ultra scan CT scan n in the end every thing normal.
