How does Fanco's explanation even make sense, must install exactly in the middle of the room then ok?

Because there is always a safety distance between the fan blade and wall.. usually about 50cm.. same with all ceiling fan.. because the wind is very strong.. the wind hit the wall will bounce back and cause recoiled.. then the wind will cause the fan spin to wobble? but this case could be also due to material..

Seller won't compensate one lah unless under warranty.

Seller can say owner improper use or cleaning or hire wrong contractor to install lol

That's just a general guide in case someone really install too close to some structure. But even if so, how does off centre relative to the room cause this?

Think his safety distance only 10-20 cm.. too near the cabinet.. like i said too near cause wobbling.. unstable..

I mean the guide is for incase the fan hit something. If never hit anything, it's not going to cause anything just because it is outside the safety distance

Following the inspection, the technician informed Mr Ong that the blade detachment occurred because the fan was “off-centre and too close” to the wardrobe.

If fan in the middle of ceiling will blame the lizard for standing too near the fan?

No pity for ceiling fan users. And it's not like they test each product for 1000s of hours.
