It is so frustrating that people like him want to contest a GRC or SMC just so that they have a captive audience and a stage for their clowning for the one week.

People want to send a strong vote to let the government know they have genuine grievances but with this kind of low quality opposition, they may feel like it isn't a choice at all. Then PAP wins big by default and it look like everyone is happy and supportive of the high cost of living. Meanwhile the joker goes back to Hong Kong after losing, easily avoiding the high cost of living, inflation, GST hike, tough job market and foreigner influx here. He is lucky enough to avoid the problems but he totally understands sinkies and feels ur pain!

Really hope WP or other credible opposition will cause a three-cornered fight in any constituency he or the jokers contest. Maybe those who are not serious about winning will finally get the hint if their chances of regaining their deposit are reduced.

I honestly think HK has it worse in almost any aspects like housing, crampness, mainland Chinese crowding out HKers, salaries, etc vs SG.

Dunno how GMS can tahan in HK. But got time and energy to JJWW in SG every few years.

The sad thing about PPP is the worst of PAP's candidates are probably head and shoulders above PPP's best candidates in probably PPP's entire history.

The above may not be true for PSP and WP. Pretty high calibre ppl in there.

Nowadays not like last time when there was a lot of walkover. Nowadays all constituencies are likely to be contested. So GMS should not waste space and let more credible parties contest, and not risk a three corner fight.
