For comparison, if you have an existing Panasonic 4XU33YBZ, 9/9/9 configuration will be using 1.52kW per hour compared to 3XU28YBZ at 1.24kW.

Compared to Daikin model 75, which runs at 1.22kW, your savings would be 0.3kW per hour or 3.6kW per day. This is 1314kW per year and $427 per year cost. This is assuming all 3 running for

Is it worth to go the extend to change to Daikin model 75 where the cost savings will take about 8-9 years to recover?
Also i have to say ur explaination and breakdown is the most informative and also the answer i am looking for. Really appreciate it very much!

what is the issue? Fan motor or swing up down motor noise?
Fan coil plastic cover issue? Midnight got sparkled noise or cracking sound?
All those that u mentioned are resolved by panasonic. The only sound is the scotch taping sound. From the video i sent earlier. U can hear it from 0:05 to 0:07.

For your master bedroom only and the rest common room?
Look like the cooper gas pipe got issue, when gas return and blockage or your master bedroom are lemon unit.
Panasonic is like that one. The pvc cover very thin with aluminium coil fins get darker easily.
QC from Malaysia standard. I have no comment.
To me that’s nightmare, my previously Panasonic at nightlight got cracking metal sound and not very cold to compare to starmex.

In terms of overall efficiency, can I say 75 is better based on 28ybz rating? But because now I am thinking of bumping the 9k to 12k for mbr. Dk if it will affect or change anything. In terms of cooling and efficiency.

night time turn on 3 units , no different between 10k or 13k btu.
The input watts are there, except you on single room , can tell the difference from 10k vs 13k power input.
Previously AllBest aircon free to upgrade me from 10k to 13k for master bedroom.

Panasonic in Malaysia or Panasonic in SG? I noticed that you like to put Panasonic down in Malaysia forums also and Kenna shot there by insisting you are right for Mitsubishi electric when the Malaysian guys told you off

you need roughly 8.5k BTU for mbr, 7.3k and 7.0k for both common rooms

if your current room doesn’t get hot from the wall or window area, 9K should be sufficient for MBR.

Another factor Mitsubishi Electric Technical service guy told me before is to use fan or ceiling fan to circulate the cold air so the room can be cooled faster and reach the set point slightly faster.

Of course if you blast it at 16°c, the inverter would work at more than 100% to support reaching that temp.

one of those suggestions to cope with 3 FCU running at the same time is to have 2 running at full speed, when they reach set point temperature, turn on the 3rd one.

The question is, is your 9K sufficient currently for all 3 bedrooms? If with fan or ceiling fan it is still insufficient, then it makes sense to go 12K.

With regards to Daikin model 75 or Starmex 3H28VG or Panasonic 3XU28YBZ, Daikin has the lowest power consumption with 1x 9K/12K FCU among all 3 brands, at 0.22kWh

Is Daikin a good brand? Yes if you have the $ for spare part in my personal opinion.

omg , I didn’t know you’re busybody to telling in cross forum.
Since you’re living in Tengah as neighbours then told you more.

panasonic is nightmare in my previous installed.
I have no comments, this is open forum to public , everyone can support whatever brands they’re likes.
You can’t control them dislike or supported that brands.
Singapore got better choices like Mitsubishi electric or daikin.
If you don’t like to listen ppls talks bad that particular brands, can try to ignored.

On this forums, should do your best to recommended in the right.
don’t try to attack someone, that’s not a good practice.

You should give context of your Panasonic. In Malaysia?

Your recommendations are mostly without basis, more on your experience and thinking. it wasn’t any difference from any sales person I met in the past 6 months.

Such funny one , got problem, Malaysia is Malaysia. Now here in Singapore.

Unless you’re Panasonic salesman, cannot hear the negatives feedback 😅
You wanna install Panasonic or recommended to everyone here, nobody stop you.
🫡

Just make sure don’t scared all the forumers.
There is pointless to make arguments anything from the aircon threads.

Haha now all 3 the quality down liao not like last time. So hard for me to decide too... pana got the auto drying mode to allow the fan coil no need to service so frequently due to blockage, thats why reluctant to change to daikin lol. But daikin currently got 3 years warranty.

Take it with a pinch of salt when they say less servicing is required
Like a car, maintenance helps prolong the lifespan

Basically buy all those electronics items best on luck.
ya, my starmex added 5 years warranty for outdoor PCB board, around $350 something.
if you can just add or forget this.
I believe exported model like pana would do better QC than local in MY.
