I used to be interested in this war. Now i just see it as a waste of time. But no choice, we are returning to the old ways of natural order. Strength is might. I find people very daft to believe this is better. There will be more blood and more loss of lives if countries get embolden and believe they can do whatever they want as long as they have the power.

Without NATO and US intervention, Ukraine simply won't have the will or resources to withstand Russia's military might. Ukraine may have to concede territory if it doesn't want to prolong the war as Mr Putin has very clearly laid out the terms for a ceasefire.

In a speech on 14 June 2024, Putin outlined Russia's terms for a ceasefire. He said that Russia would not negotiate unless Ukrainian forces fully withdrew from the regions claimed by Russia: all of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts, including the land Russia does not control.

Maybe DSO, DSTA can start our weapons factory and create some new military technology to aid Ukraine..and also send some troops there from Mindef to standby. Our soldiers could benefit from some real life combat experience...

russian propaganda cannot be trusted. we will prob need more 3rd party confirmation to believe anything russia says.

i think it maybe too naive to think of the world in black and white as if ukraine is the clear gd guy and russia the bad guy.

ukraine gov is highly problematic even before the war, deeply corrupted and no where near beacon of democracy like wat western media like to paint, ukraine is actually a smaller version of russia.

however if we have to take sides we must stand against the invader which in this case is russia. rem wat if tomorrow malaysia or indonesia or even china want to claim sg? do we say let it go and bend over? or do we say lets go to war and die? both paths will be dark and painful.
