Foreigner can buy car in Malaysia and park there for local use?

yeah why not? pay in cash. buy insurance. you are set to go.

the question is where are you going to park the car that is safe assume no friends/relatives there....

otherwise park at gld998 place lor. pay him rm30 for season parking monthly.

my fren is SG PR... he bought a car (BMW) in JB and drive there - his own country mah...

he can keep the car forever and drive only weekend... it wont depreciate..

not sure whether he can drive back though...

BMW cars wont last long in our extreme humid region. In 15 years, engine, the electronic seat adjuster all will kaput. Your friend is far better off buying a Proton car if he intent to keep the car forever in JB.

Tiagong can buy but whether the car still parked there or not when you go there again is another matter
