quick question for those who have done this before:
say my ADB in July is 0, in Aug is 100K, will the bonus interest be paid for Sept too or just for Aug? Thanks!

A quick question deserve a quick answer!

You will get BI for both Aug and Sept if you continue to keep the 100k deposited in Aug till end Sept, even if there are movements during the mth of Aug and Sept.

There is another component of "bonus interest", ie 1%pa which is only paid on incremental ADB for Aug as compared to July, and for Sept as compared to Aug if there is any incremental ADB. (this is subject to a separate tnc which you have to comply!)

I mean for the Aug bonus interest promo: is the bonus counted for Aug only (if there's no new funds in Sept), or both Aug & Sept?

not sure if you're referring to the same thing or got confused by the EGA bonus interest.

the 1% you referring is 3.5% + 1% for the balance interest rate or the 1% is for those giro for cc, cc usage?

not with hsbc cc. other banks' cc, if giro, yes.

No funding in august only 5 txns but I got the everyday+ sms for august till 30 Sep.

Is that how it works? Late funding will carry forward instead?

It IS for two months.
You meet the criteria for Aug, so the period is for Aug+Sep.

I see. I read wrongly just saw yr funding was in July, PS. Maybe someone can advise you.
