Gimmie the IP addresses I'll run it for you.Are there any websites I can look at to compare the ping tests from diff ISPs?
You can do that to ensure minimal to no downtime.Really appreciate it @Mach3.2 ! Ping looks really good on Starhub for the most part, which is what I am leaning towards as well
do u think i can subscribe to starhub now and terminate MR once my contract ends? Would it have any issues with regards to the Fibre ports if I have two ISPs connected for the time being?
To add on, the current FTP port 1 for MR will be terminated & FTP port 2 will be activated by NLT for SH instead, since you are going for the minimal disruption way instead of waiting for termination and activation.Really appreciate it @Mach3.2 ! New offering from VQ looks better, effectively the prices are lowered due to SIMBA's entry and price suppression.Thank you for your input @froztheart !
Now that I've looked at the information provided by @Mach3.2 on my computer (was on mobile phone yesterday night), ViewQuest looks pretty good as well!
So I'm looking at ViewQuest and Starhub to move to at the moment. Anyone have any experience with VQ? Is it stable? I also heard ViewQuest uses CGNAT which I assume isn't ideal right? Would it be better to go with Starhub then?
Set up MR 2 days ago, same here. The night congestion starts from 8 PM to 12 AM.tonight's MR's internet feels like sh*t... having like 10ms for speedtest. Tried using VPN and suddenly VPN is also showing an error saying "Due to your restrictive network, you can connect to fewer locations"

MR also published "Outage Updates (north area is affected)" on their official website, hopefully it can be solved soon.
Will report back whether it's fixed after the replacement announced by MR.Maybe this the same pain as the SH users now that SH/MR are merging their backend networks -- congestion during peak hours.
I tend to believe the issues will be sorted out in the end, maybe in six months time.

Finally replaced my aging AX86U with TP-Link BE805, performance not bad at all and the design looks very different, even my mother asked me what is it. Standard, 1 unit was able to cover my 4RM flat.
Mainly using the 5Ghz and 6Ghz band at home for my devices, 2.4Ghz only for my IoT devices.
My router is aging and I had a opportunity to get it a good price, so bought 1 to try ... so far, not disappointed.Haha, I thought you were a die-hard Asus fan and would go with the nice Asus ROG GT-BE98.
TP-link Archer BE805 is one of the most cost effective WiFi 7 routers now in Singapore. It is better than Starhub EB810v and Singtel HB810 in one major aspect -- it is not a service-provider model and not locked to MR.

Yes, 1 of the reason why I bought the BE805 is because is not isp model, if you're using it as an AP then okay for both the other 810.TP-link Archer BE805 is one of the most cost effective WiFi 7 routers now in Singapore. ROG GT-BE98 too big liao and really overkill for my current house ... Maybe a smaller version, I'll try again, maybe RT-BE96 or something smaller? The good thing about this BE805 is the temperature, no fan design but temperature is decent, not too hot.
Btw master xiaofan, any recommendations for any isp at the moment? see until abit blur, was looking at StarHub 5Gbps, then saw VQ got 3Gbps. Singtel I think I don't want to consider, ONR is a big no-no.
I think MR is performing quite badly during peak hours. YouTube is significantly slow when skipping on the 4K videos.Leaning towards VQ (3gbps) as well, almost wanted to just resubscribe to MR again then yesterday was experiencing abit of packet loss and that turned me off. Though VQ users seem to say that its a bit unstable on the older plans. Anyone knows if I would encounter the same instability issues with the 3gbps plans?
