Just wondering what is the problem you are facing. Thanks.
ZTE F8648P still can bridge, don't worry. :) I'm on the 10G plan.
Finally, I discovered that the issue causing my slow download speeds is the UDM Pro 10G LAN port with third-party modules. I am now waiting for the delivery of my new Ubiquiti 10G module.

Glad to hear that.

My Singtel 5Gbps plan installation is scheduled on Monday 12 August 2024. My plan is to run the ONR setup for a few days and then try the bridging.

NLT appointment was done today (it was scheduled tomorrow but they happened to work nearby and did the job today).

I assume you set the entire ONR to bridged mode instead of just bridging one port correct?

@Sarahlina

Just wondering if you encounter the issue of @lightstal that he loses the capability to get dual IPv4 address. Thanks.

Now I am quite interested in this thread as I have subscribed to Singtel 5Gbps basic plan at S$49.90 per month, which will come with this ZTE F8648P XGS-PON ONR.
Sorry for the late reply.
My ONR still bridged with 2 Port but currently only use 1 Port (10GB) while the other Bridged Port is unused.

I mean yeah for option 1 it could be possible by setting the ONR to ONT mode but I at this point I don't dare to do it cause the last time I tried smth like this the whole thing bricked xD shown

I tend to believe the "ONT" option will work, but I understand that you do not want to try right now.

I also tend to think there is a way to carry out factory reset and go back to the default ONR mode.

Let's hear more reports from others.

I can reproduce the issues mentioned by @lightstal and @BlonkBloink.

Once I bridged one LAN port (LAN 5 -- 10G LAN port), the internet will be gone. Looks like Singtel patched the two IPv4 addresses loophole for ZTE F8648P ONR users (Singtel 5Gbps/10Gbps plan).

The last resort is to use the ONT mode. But same as @lightstal, dare not to try now. I will try next week when I will be on leave.

Just wondering if you use the ONT option to bridge the ONR or you use other options. Thanks.

I assume you can't do ONR - Bridge Ports - ALL Ports due to the use of singtel TV? Or are there some restrictions surrounding this method?

Last time SingTel had the limit of not to have 4 IPv4 addresses within 24 hours (at most 3). I believe this limit is still there. If you do that, you will lose the internet for 24 hours.

So you can not bridged all ports or even 3 ports.

Previously it was safe to bridge one port (two IPv4 addresses) or even two ports (three IPv4 addresses). But it is not recommended to bridge two ports as you can not change router in that case.

Now the problem is that you cannot even bridge one port (two IPv4 addresses).

@BlonkBloink managed to sort out the issue with an totally unexpected way -- he got a new Nokia XGS-PON ONR which he can bridge.

I now keyi bridge 3 ports, keep calling 1688 disturb them then a tech came down change for me a nokia ONR. All good now

@BlonkBloink
Would you be able to share the model number of the Nokia XGS-PON ONR? Thanks.

When you say bridge 3 ports, do you mean that you get 4 public IPv4 addresses? Or 3 public IPv4 addresseses? I remember 4 is not possible.

And just wondering if you can get IPv6 to work or not. If yes, native IPv6 or 6rd? Thanks.

Reference: only two users get Singtel native IPv6 to work with the ZTE F8648P ONR.

huh, ST is now issuing new XGS-PON by Nokia?

i thought it's using ZTE 10G ONR?

Apparently not available to the public yet. It is not listed in the following page. But it makes sense that they will have different models to diversify from one vendor for the XGS-PON ONR, just like their GPON ONR vendor situation (Huawei, Nokia and ZTE).

hmm... then how that person managed to get it?:s22:

curious to see how it looks like, so please share the pics!

Singtel for sure got good support guys and network team engineers which can help in all kinds of ways. It is just you need to be patient to go passing the front end guys who may not know too much.

So far I have found Singtel support satff as well as Singtel Jurong Point Staff to offer pretty decent services. But I have not talked about real technical issues with them previously, mostly just recontract stuff.

Now I got the first technical issues for Singtel support for IPv6. Let's see how it goes. I was probably the first one to get Singtel native IPv6 to work but I was using ONT. It is tough to get that to work with ONR. Two users have spent a lot of time to get Singtel native IPv6 to work with ZTE F8648P ONR. Let's see if I can become the 3rd ...

People will ask why I do not try the last ONT option to see if it works or not.

The worry is that it may not work and I may lose the access to the ONR again to recover. There is no option to back up the configurations of the ONR to a USB drive.

So I dare not to try myself. Home internet access is critical to the other family members...

As attached, 1 routed 1 bridged, total 2 ips tried 3 it broke LOL. Model number all that was advised by the tech to not release first
