IMHO.
Newbie here.
I am registering for VEP. Seems more complicating than I thought !
I have registered the TouchnGo card using browser.
The TouchnGo eWallet app is a must ? If so, for face verification is use NRIC or passport ? TIA.

Edit :-
I found the answer for the NIRC or Passport - Can only select Passport
is this app a must ?
Apps is a MUST.
Log in TnG Apps scroll down to recommended. Under it will have VEP JPJ icon.. Click it in you can insert your NRIC no from there.

Thanks. Saw the icon but cannot go in as pending my verification. Don't have passport pic with me.

Bro, nice to see you here. :D

Don't worry. Nobody is worse than me here or the whole of Singapore.

I was rejected 5 times before my VEP application was finally approved on the 6th time stretching from early July to mid September! :D

Imagine that! :censored: I gg for almost 3 months! 🤭

My status is pending verification.
I think the form got some bug, I think I never put the STATE but it showed up some random state. 🤔
Anyway, hope for the best.

Just wait to see what is the reason for rejection and then follow accurately to give them what they really asked for coz some reasons can be confusing in view of the way we work and operate in Singapore is very different from Malaysia.

For your info. The attachment tab can only submit 1 attachment. Subsequent input would override your previous attachment to them.

So, if you have multiple pages or photos or whatever. Make sure you combined them altogether into one single attachment. For example, front and back of NRIC..

Not so fast one. Imagine their backlog of applications. 😷

For my case. It took 7 business day to get the application result be it accepted or rejected.

My RFID tag had reached City-Link Singapore on the 9th Oct 2024 and it's still there as of today, 15th Oct 2024....

Don't know they wait for what.....? :cautious:

At this stage. The mentioned city link is at Skundai, Johor.. 🤭

Long way to go, bro!

The worst point is at city link Singapore. My tag has been there since 9th Oct and yet totally no movement since then.

For a company providing courier service I wonder how it will/can last

My VEP status also shows arrived at City Link Singapore. Presumably it’s at Toa Payoh Office. Can we go collect ourself? Don’t wish to wait till Christmas.

Just returned from City-link at Toa Payoh empty handed. There are piles and piles of VEP tags in sacks waiting to be sorted. Pity those 4 guys there. Those received on 16/10/24 are still in the sacks. These guys are friendly but I guess we just have to understand their situation and not disrupt their “sorting system”. They also don't know which sack contains my VEP but “promised”to keep a look out for my tag. My advice is : just wait patiently for it to deliver to you. Don’t waste yr trip there unless you have a better way.
