My status is "Pending For Tag Processing" for 2 weeks. Can I make a trip down?

No harm dropping by the address I posted above if you’re around the area.

I took the chance and headed down after reading someone else tried it and successfully got their VEP postage on the spot.

Just have to show them your postage tracking consignment number to the staffs and they will look for your VEP postage

I followed the TnG app instruction to verify my ID by taking passport photo. Have tried 3 different phones (iOS and Android) and 2 different passports (tested with my wife passport since mine is not as clear with grey hair ), but none works.
If I take only single page photo of my passport that carries my particular, then it went through. If I take photo with 2 pages of my passport as instructed by VEP JPJ guide/requirement, then it always failed with either "Face not detected", "Unclear photo ID" or "Attempt limit reached".
Wondering if my RFID tag taking more than a month in Pending status is due to my unverified ID?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated

Quick update for anyone who encounters similar issue:
Submitted single page of my passport instead of the 2 pages as instructed by TnG eWallet, the "eKYC" verification went through and accepted with email confirmation from TnG yesterday. Then, I received another email from tcsens this morning that my RFID tag activation failed because the tag is not attached on the headlamp (I attached it on top-left corner of windscreen with more than 5-8 cm away from metal frame because my car narrow headlamp only has 4cm distance from headlamp's upper/lower frames. Sent them few photos and pending response...

According to JPJ, the owner is responsible for notifying the department via the portal about any stolen, lost, or damaged RFID tag. The owner must file a police report and notify JPJ before they can obtain a new RFID tag.

I'll be more worried about their efficiency to process the police report and deactivate the tag. Rather not store any money in my TnG wallet that is tagged to RFID. They can steal the tag but can't do much with it. Anyway after 5 years it will expire.

I don't think the physical TnG card option will be removed at the borders anytime soon. Otherwise how the Malaysian cars cross the border? They also need to pay the RM2+ toll.

I've received the tag in my mailbox but when i tried to validate the tag number on https://vepams.jpj.gov.my/, it gave me this error message:
Oh No ! You have not downloaded MDGS Mobile Apps. Please download the MDGS app from Google Play Store, Huawei AppGallery or Apple Store. You can only perform the tag acknowledgement once you have downloaded the MDGS Mobile Apps and TAG ACKNOWLEDGEMENT can NOW be DONE from the MDGS Mobile Apps.

When i downloaded the MDGS app, i was not able to log in using my vepams credentials. There is no option to create an account on MDGS.

Hence, I clicked on "submit an issue" on the validation page on https://vepams.jpj.gov.my/ to say that the MDGS app is not working.

Now, vepams no longer has the option for me to validate my tag but instead I only have the option to order a tag via post/self-collection.

WTF! any guru can advise what I should do next?

Malaysian Cars already have the TnG RFID Tag so they can use that if their authorities want to phase out the use of TnG card for customs.

Finally, at 1130pm on 07/10. I received an email saying that my RFID tag has shipped.

I made the RFID mailing payment on the 17/09.

So, for my case. It took 3 weeks for them to ship out after making the payment.

erm.... u get the mail to u one is only stick at headlight den is submit for approval ma... unless u go down den they is only stick for windscreen sure no problem one...

Hi, can anyone advice me what can I do? 1 month ago, my VEP tore when I was pasting it (My fault), so I went down to Danga bay to de-register. They say within 2 weeks it will de-register, and they advice me can try submit torn RFID to get it voided.

I submitted the torn RFID as picture, and it became "Tag issued but not activated" for about 3 weeks. Then now it went back to "Pending for Acknowledgement". I'm not sure what to do next

I am registering for VEP. Seems more complicating than I thought !
I have registered the TouchnGo card using browser.
The TouchnGo eWallet app is a must ? If so, for face verification is use NRIC or passport ? TIA.
