Yup. I interpret YN to be insinuating that party leader direction is to continue the lie.. But according to LPY it wasn't the case.
So on one occasion, YN said via WhatApp that "in the first place... not to disclose everything" to continue misdirecting the police.

Then according to LPY, wanted to continue the lie when meeting with Singh.

Under 2 charges

1. Asking RK continue to lie in the parliament
2. Lie to COP about no 1

If RK farted in Parliament… she told PS about it… and PS told her “if u have to fart u have to fart”… can charge PS also?

Coz releasing toxic gas in Parliament should be an offence also right… and PS never stop her from farting…

Hypothetically that is…

Then according to LPY, wanted to continue the lie when meeting with Singh.
The whatsapp was sent before they met PS. Then, according to LPY, he made the suggestion (as per whatspp message I assume) to PS again when they (LPY and YN) met PS.

BTW initially when questioned by Jumabhoy, YN said he didn't suggest to PS to continue the lie, but after Jumabhoy told him that LPY acknowledged that he did, then he said he couldn't remember whether he made the suggestion or not. :s22:

lol a big bunch of liars.

A case of liars say liars say liars lied? But how to trust the words of a liar who said another person lied? Hmmm……

It’s not as if there’s recordings or undisputed evidence. Just some liars saying whatever they wanted……

Not necessarily.

The onus is on the prosecution to prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt.

For he said she said cases, the bar to clear for the prosecution is that the testimony of prosecution witnesses have to be unusually convincing.

Below extracted from Justice Vincent Hoong's judgement in GHI v Public Prosecutor [2024] SGHC 220:
You said it better than me.

Really a joke when so many of the prosecution witnesses appear to be evasive, forgetful, and untruthful. How can their statements be even taken seriously in the first place.
