thanks for the advice.
Currently using a pair of XD6 for my whole house which work without any issue.
So if signing for 3gbps plan, since the BE230 is free. thinking to make use of it , so my phone and some other electronic device can connect to the BE230 WIFI for speed faster than 1GB.
The XD6 will then be just for all the smarthome device will do, since they dont need to be fast, just need constant connection.
Yes , so it works. I also tried to ask chatGPT and it told me to disable DHCP and set to AP mode for the XD6.
I actually just test my Smart TV, using netflix connection test, only 100Mbps! should i use WIFI instead of LAN then, for Smart TV? As I google my LG OLED TV by right should be able to go 2.5G.
But honestly even at 100mbps, not slow or lag in streaming.
If you can use wired connection, 100Mbps is good enough for smart TV.
BTW, I do not think any smart TVs will have built-in 2.5Gbe wired networking. Most likely you use Google wrongly.
In fact Google "lg oled tv gigabit ethernet" shows all results that none of LG Smart TVs have gigabit Ethernet, all limited to 100 Mbps. Not so sure if there are any exceptions.
