🛞 My honest review of Hankook Ventus Prime 4

After driving on Hankook 9ventus prime 4 for a month.. I'm happy with the grip, control and noise level.. felt just as good as pricier Michelin Energy XM and Bridgestone GR80 that I used last time.. and better than other tires I had from Nexen, Laufenn, Hankook..

Comparable good tires from other brands like Michelin, Bridgestone, Continental, Pirelli would cost more than $450, so I think I made a good choice..

To be fair, I find CPC7 having even better grip, but noiser

I did shortlist continental as I read good reviews but never try before.. but it would be around $120+ per piece..

But top up abit.. I ask for my size giti 205/55R16 $90/95 for several shops.

ES32 same size MIJ Yr24 $100 per Pcs. Exotic wheels. Cheap and good.

Dump my left 40% conti Uc6, suddenly it is so quiet.

Davanti dx390, quiet and comfort tyres, 205/60/R16, 4 PCs at $284.77 after all the discount at shoppee.

Tempting price.. I understand Davanti tyres are made in china though.. and tyrereviews.com ranked them in the middle of the pack.. so they are probably good for non demanding users looking for cheap tyres

Continental ranked CPC n CSC as their high-end comfort n sports range

Theres ultracontact, comfort contact, eco contact, etc.
I dunno how they're ranked

I find them as good as any japanese comfort tyres. Demanding users should use sport tyres which are noisy and I can't stand it.

There is still a difference in performance between budget tyres and premium ones.. and cpc7 is not sport tyres.. so still prudent to go for better tires if wallet allows..

u think car mfg claim is 10km per litre, your mod ..can make it 12km per litre?
the difference might not be worth ur time.

I have never really border so much about the extra or less of a few km of fuel consumption for my car.

I just drive and make sure the tyres I have give me good grip, low noise and comfy ride.

That is the most important of all.

Anyway, I pump 98. No no 95 for me.

Reviews for the Pirelli put it in similar performance to the ventus prime 4.. with the price difference the ventus prime 4 seems more value for money

Yes! Second that. That's why I'm thinking to snatch the Prime 4. It makes logical sense.

Thanks, informative read. It would be interesting if they could include jap tyres in the reviews.
