Did some quick google-ing...

I didn't realised they have planned an entire huge ass mrt line not shorter than the TEL along the long island... i initially thought it might just be some LRT alike.

As per what we have discussed about building MRT lines before justifying the township, those buying D15/16 properties and paying premium for sea view better think twice... long island is going to be huge with many many TALL properties...

PS, there is a "kuan yew" station. Just how many ah gong memorials do they want to milk!? :ROFLMAO:

And suddently got purple line and another brown line with Kuan Yew mrt station. hahahaha

TBH don't really understand why there are so many MRT line on the east side - EW line, Downtown, TEL & Cross Island Line. Only EW line & Cross Island line for west? Westies not enough riders on MRTs?
because west side got big chunk of nature reserve.....

Ya la, wait till G start the reclamation work first and then prolly need to rest the reclaimed land for 20years? :ROFLMAO:
nowadays technology different already... we have ever done industrial projects with the land rested less than a year.. maybe residential more kiasi but no need 20 years bah
because west side got big chunk of nature reserve.....
i thought because we Westies are loyal voters :(

lets see. the east to NE also have HUGE plots from paya lebar air base to redevelop so i dont see them rushing long island
Long Island is to save the Tanjong Rhu, Meyer, Tanjong Katong and Marine Parade people from drowing. It's purpose is not to build more house, that is just a secondary benefit. LOL!!!

U r big towkay. I not boss. I bought a resale in D15 earlier instead of waiting. In fact with such overwhelming response, I sometimes thought that I should have waited and perhaps I could get a good queue number. O well.
