Oppo Find X8 Series

Hi all first time using oppo, need some tips and guide from you guys. What color mode are you guys using? Screen resolution and screen refresh, auto or high? Thanks!

I use all the highest setting since battery life is darn good. Color mode I use pro.

Still exploring but good start, never imagined I will buy and use oppo. First time using Mediatek also

I opened my set last night, haven't start using it. But Oppo gave tempered glass right? The casing quality is very good as per Keyoke. My s24+ doesn't even come with a screen protector.
My first time using Oppo and MTK chip also

received my x8 yesterday.

transferring over to another ecosystem is a pain.

the official inbuilt whatsapp transfer from iOS to Android only transferred about 10% of my messages. alot of my group chat with medias inside are all gone.. trying so many times until a point whatsapp started to delay my activation and ask me to try again in X minutes to hours. =|

feel like giving up soon and give the phone to my wife. Tonight i will try buying dr fone whatsapp transfer to migrate over.. if this really fail again. then u guys won't see me here liao. haha

I see my friend transfer from Android to iOS and vice versa like so easy, he make it look at effortless. Hope you succeed.

Film protector bro.

Yes casing is very good quality compared to normal transparent one. They ensure u can start using it directly out of the box.

Samsung dont give a damn about such things la

i had the impression as well that MTK is **** until i do alot of readup on MTK D9400 lately.

also last time mediatek was so unfriendly to the custom rom scene. only snapdragon is well supported.

but then again, nowadays hardly people want to switch to custom rom, reason being there is so many things u need to do in order to bypass the detection from the bank app or singpass app. no longer a reason to switch to custom rom, if u wan very close to vanilla, then OnePlus or Google phone.

to be honest, i'm quite amazed by the speed of the X8, despite i still having problems on the whatsapp.

So true. I used to play custom roms till things start to break when i unlock the bootloader.

The phone is really snappy. Try dr fone. It should work. Tested and proven by my friend. But manage expectations. My friend had 95 percent of the stuffs migrated from iphone to android

hearsay Ultra will not be launched globally.. only exclusively for china market.

Question: what app do you guys used to count steps? I know Nothing phone has a step counter built-in but not other Android phone. Last time I was using Google Fit but I rem Google killed it?
