finally a good news.

i will be staying on Oppo! so basically what it happens:

1) When Dr Fone install their own "whatsapp" and restored all my messages and media, when it try to install the real whatsapp and launch, it will hit into an unknown error when trying to restore.

2) if you choose to continue, they will hang the app, forcing you to force stop the app and then u have to reopen, so if u reopen, they will try to restore your messages (which 100% it did successfully), but they will wipe off all your media files (docs, photos, videos) in the background sliently.

3) what i did is, before i install the new whatsapp from playstore, i copied the 3 folders (WhatsApp Images, WhatsApp Videos & WhatsApp Documents) to root of Android.

4) so i when i did the restoration, i let it delete folders in the background. once the app successfully restore all my messages, i kill the app again and move back the folders into the original location.

5) launch the whatsapp again. TADAH! all messages and media files all restored!

a little sad that i lost about a day of messages, because i don't want to backup my whatsapp again on Dr Fone as it took extremely long to complete. as iPhone data transfer is only USB2.0 speed.

just in case anybody bump into the same problem as me when using iPhone to transfer. you may try Dr Fone app!

apparently alot of brand makers out there having the delay issue when heading back to home screen with Nova Launcher except Samsung.

As i'm more on the customization, Nova launcher can adjust the widget size according to what i want rather than the stock launcher.

Don't understand what's the instructions in the screenshot, did it say go to Nova launcher and change it as a default launcher twice?

I'm planning to order from shopee Chinese retailer as I'm eyeing on 1Tb storage. Purchasing from China, will it be an international warranty?
