Prices have actually jumped alot for most essential items. It is not uncommon to see the price of everyday groceries going up by 30-40% since COVID.

In the past few months, I have actually seen elderly couples rummaging through the bins at the farmer's market I get my groceries from to bring home those cauliflower leaves or torn lettuce leaves to eat.

Everything depends on your luck.... I got a friend, scrawnchy little ****, like those u 1 punch can floor type. Pua peh ku, beta personality. However, his career smoother than ky jelly. Work for o&g jv no need plp,work hard or showcase work. 10 years cbjkl, kkylp get at least 9 mths bonus yearly. Skills wise mayb a 7/10 but super in comfort zone.

Yes its all about luck. I've a fren that is short & skinny, looks like a drug addict. And he has no career ambitious, no house/no car, no savings. But he found a Korean gf who is pretty & succesful career. She covered all their expenses during dating and they just got married recently. And ppl always say Korean girls are materialistic etc but he just found the 1 in 100 gem
