Or you know any reliable contractor? i'm just looking for basic reno, good and lasting workmanship, especially toilet.

You will need contractor for flooring and wall tiles, carpentry, electrical, piping, curtain, windows, doors&gate&lock, lightings, toilet fittings, painting & plastering.

It is not easy but will save you $$$.

Yes. Recently i heard of many ID run away. Just few days back, one owner told me to take over his id job, as deposit and start of work $$ give, but for 1 month only job done is toilet floor hacking only.
Told him to talk nicely to the ID to finish up the job

can lah. contractor do so many hdb. just ask for sample pics of the houses they did before. if gam then maybe change some color. hdb all standard template.

Why nowadays home renovation so expensive? I want to do a simple 4-5 room hdb flat also 80-100k. Not even doing much carpentry.

8 years ago, 35k I can settle the whole renovation for my old flat for similar work done.

lol. ppl paying 100k sgd to renovate a hdb flat. then give jiu hu ID earn.

but in northern jiu hu 300k rm can buy one good landed home. can park 2 cars inside.

jiuhu hardly wanna be ID esp fully comm one unless they dont need the $. most of them become drafter instead, they will take a fixed salary for eg $3K a mth. if be ID they will die 1st
