not that i know of, but several days after my joint registration still not captured according to cso

So far any further update provided by cso regarding your joint registration? Not sure if I should register for BTL or Jan EGA promo for my joint account.

You intended to register Jan EGA for single account only but not the joint account? If so, the system tagging issue favours your situation.

If I send in the BTL sms (personal account), my joint account won’t be affected right? Only those who register for Jan EGA promotion under Personal will have both their Personal and Joint account registered?

Not if the reference month balance is very high though. For me doesnt matter if my single or joint is enrolled, i only concerned on the accuracy of the tagging, if the system cant even capture the correct tag for either account, then how do customers know when to bring in the funds..

which is why I decide to proactively downgrade myself this month... before they do anything funny.

but I do worry it may affect the BTL promo which I was invited to join, and which I already sent the SMS, after I downgrade myself. I will be annoyed if I missed out on the 2.8% (+1%) AND also being unable to participate in the public promo (2.7% for personal banking + 1%) because I had already registered for the BTL.

anyway the online CSO said they will arrange for my 'RM' to call me over the next two days. will see...

Yes! Finally, some banker emailed me and sent me the premier withdrawal form.

Also clarified that I'm still eligible for the BTL promo despite the downgrading.

I have the same understanding, the BTL t&c doesnt have the clause that mention joint account will be auto enrolled.

Because of the cap for additional 1% and I have already funded the joint account earlier this month.

Therefore you need to make your comparison accordingly.

What a mess.

I enquired using live chat. Put me on hold for 25 min then told me I am enrolled for Jan. I told her your system updated wrongly please check the date my SMS was received and request relevant team to correct it. Her reply "Based on the system there is no error on our end". Ask me to call hotline.

Hotline checked that SMS was received in Dec and none in Jan and confirmed I am enrolled in Dec cycle.

I guess I met a useless live agent. Next time will just call hotline.
