Maybe the dog trying the get away from the owner?
If not how come rushing to cross the road?
Dun see the owner playing catch also.
Or could it be the dog feel that his end is near decides to end his life?
Dun laugh, last time my kampong dog also same.
Usually cats does it by straying away from their owner, but not that extreme though.

Went to my friend's house in a landed enclave back when I was in JC. Saw this small dog kenna ran over by a car. The dog had it's back legs crushed and dragged itself by it's front legs a short distance to the owner's house. There was a long trail of blood like those horror show.

A man came out and saw the dog. He thought for awhile, picked up the dog, went outside and threw it into the green bin. All of us stunned.

Dog lovers eh. Though it is not a representation of every pet owner, but I am skeptical how much some owners really think of their pets as a living thing.

Let's just say, if because this doggo ran out and case a fatality accident, who is responsible?

You don't close this loop, you're just waiting for something to happen.
