That's just backlight bleeding... a defect rather than the tv getting spoilt...

I've been using the Xiaomi TV BOX S... it's very responsive and works fine... if it lags it's cos the apps are updating... I don't have many apps installed... basically just YouTube and MeWatch...
ya, this backlight bleeding came 1 yr after usage. partly also i use long hrs to play ps5 on it also. the tv also got popping sound sometimes. got warranty might as well claim. luckily tv is 3 yrs not 1 yr warranty. but now not using this model which is IPS anymore.. currently using the QLED model. So far no issues after 5 days, no popping sound also

You're fortunate your tv is still under warranty...

just to share:

I bought Q1 55" a while ago.
it had this problem where it would turn on by itself, usually at 5am or so, randomly.
so its quite a scare when you wake up early in the morning and find your TV blasting some ch5 show.

first time i contacted them, the tech came down to replace the whole circuit board/motherboard at the back of the TV. i asked him and he said others have this issue too.

but after replacement, the same thing still happened on random days. still at about 5am +/-
yes, i've done all those factory reset stuff.

so i contacted them again, on facebook messenger like the first time. i said i demand a replacement set. i dont want the Q1. I want the Q2. and i want the 65", i can top up.
so they made an appt for me. 2 tech came down with a new TV.

they packed up my set, assembled the Q2 55" for me. since then all, is good. no issues with the TV. but too bad i couldnt get the 65". no biggie as i didnt harbour high hopes for it.

all these happened after i used the Q1 for 1 yr+ so its within the warranty period.

later i contacted them again. gave them my serial number etc... asked them about the warranty of the new set, Q2.

I was very very surprised when i got back the reply that my warranty starts again on the day they replaced it for me and i got a new 3 year warranty again

pretty impeccable service so far
which shop you buy from? Shopee?

Minihelpers or Xiaomi official?

my mi tv 55" has sound and has no image after 4.5 years using.

now i am planning to buy a new xiaomi tv Q2 55". if it gets problem in the future, can i combine some parts (main board or login board or sth else) of two TVs to make TV continue to working?

It should not be the same, you can't combine both.

by any chance are using the P1 55"?

mine had the same problem 3 years 3 months. Was considering the Q2 as well, but got the Hisense E7N 55" for $598 instead from Shopee after vouchers and flash sale.

Saw on some IG reel that the 55" is $999. That's too good to be true.

Not the official xiaomi SG right? :o
Xiaomi TV Store and Xiaomi SG Store are authorised distributors of Xiaomi Singapore, they take stocks from Xiaomi direct.

Xiaomi Singapore operates independently at their website mi.com/sg as well.
